Unsuck DC Metro
there's entire twitter accounts and websites on the state of DC's metro system
700,000 people commuting and they can't plan accordingly..

DC Metro ain't the best by far, but it aint no mess either. I've been riding it for damn near 30 years. And it is not that serious.

Just like the MTA they've had to catch up on a lot of overdue track work, so in recent times it more delays and shuttle bus weekends. But for most part its reliable.

WMATA I'm pretty sure didn't expect this city to almost increased it population by 50 percent in 10 years either.

When was this? I ride the red line every day and have never seen it wrapped around the corner. Hip me.

Couple of years ago, when they were doing heavy track work between Forest Glen and Brookland.

It was a month of shuttle bus, and for a good while. Every other weekend was shuttle bus service either from Rockville to Medical Center side or on the SS to Rhode Island side.

I don’t remember the line being around the block. They were running the buses pretty regular, especially since kids had to go to school

I like dc and Atlanta subways better

Chomp ain’t doing shyt besides naming bridges after himself

The highways in New York City need to be totally redone as well. That 87-95 interchange is the biggest clusterfukk I have ever seen

MTA and NYCHA are just incompetent..

I told this story on here before..

They had the 2 line running on the 5 line and the 5 running on the 2 one weekend :dwillhuh:

It needs a complete overhaul as far as braintrust

Facts! D was running on the F line and the F was on the D line. D wasn't running on the regular line because of track work.

This is what mass transit gets you and at the same time, they're making it harder to drive, removing lanes, raising tolls, adding cameras, eliminating parking spots ... all so you can depend on unreliable mass transit. :francis:

That congestion tax is one of the whitest laws I've ever seen.

If you have a car in New York, chances are you aren't driving in New York on weekdays into the city. Parking is limited and expensive.

Funds go to MTA despite the lack of faith in their management.
