Slowly but surely they pushing minorities out
Look at Harlem and Washington Heights now
Look at parts of Brooklyn too
White people everywhere
Gentrification like a motherfukker
I'm not saying that the sole purpose but it's definitely part of the reason

LA and NYC was doin 2,500 in the early 90s

But on the flip side it brings up the cost of living
I'm not saying I'd prefer the violence but its almost impossible to live in a nice neighborhood out here without some help

I don't condone the abuse of Medicaid and food stamps
But sometimes u need to work the system

Can't even say i'm mad. I understand why music now is so focused on having a good time and "swag". Its a good thing for society. Maybe not for music....but it's good for society.

There is a stark difference between 90s debut by teenagers or early 20 somethings like Nas, Outkast, Mobb Deep, Wu-Tang etc; and nikkas like Wiz, trinidad James etc.

According to FBI data Chicagos highest was 33.1 with 930, NYs was 31.3 with 2,242 murders and LAs was 30.3 all around the same time. So they were all pretty much the same.

City B has 5000 people and 10 people a year get killed
Same per capita
But 10 nikkas got bodied in City B
