youd be more likely to score 2 just lining up and going for 2 rather than faking a fgThough now teams will not see the fake PAT coming.

I remember when football used to be football![]()
It takes away the fake extra point element of surprise. No one is gonna try a fake XP from the 15. Bad move, NFL.

this is stupid.
People equate touchdowns with 7 points.
When it's late in a 7pt game and a team has made a dramatic comeback and scores a TD, the fans subconsciously consider the game tied b/c the extra point is a formailty.
Fans are gonna be riled up, excited......only for a kicker to botch the point and ruin the entire comeback.

i'm just sayinig, when a playoff game or something is on the line, and a team has worked all 4th quarter for a dramatic comeback.....and the kicker botches the extra point & blows the game, it's gonna be bad for the fans/viewers.
Please tell me the last time you saw a fake extra point![]()

exactly.
it'll be so unexpected when it happens
and now the nfl is taking it away![]()

you're welcome to your opinion, but it'd kinda suck for a teams entire season or trip to the SB to come down to a measley extra point. What the fukk? How is that bad for the fans?
They should go for two and win the game anyway.you're welcome to your opinion, but it'd kinda suck for a teams entire season or trip to the SB to come down to a measley extra point.
I don't get how you can't see that being a bad deal. The team busts their ass for a 80 yd TD drive to tie a game(with the exra point) with 15 secs and then the kicker misses the silly XP and now the team loses the game.
90%So what that makes it a 35yard kick? That's not a chip shot anymore, there's going to be a whole lot of fukkery. What's the statistics on making 35yard fg?
I can already see the Cowboys losing off a missed PAT with it getting blocked and returned for a TD![]()
