I'm amazed by the hate MLB gets on the Coli
They're blind and ignorant to the influx of African American and Latin talent coming into Mlb these days more than in recent past :banderas:

Could you imagine the hype that Byron Buxton would get if he was white?

& he's the consensus #1 prospect in that fukking sport :skip:

Idk being three points ahead of a spoort that's not even supposed to count (college football) is nothing to be proud of. Having said that the poll is bs.

NBA is popular on a national level where they can market their stars. The season is just entirely too long- the Kings have 41 home games that no one gives a shyt about. The season takes almost 9 months to complete.

Shorten the season, eliminate 2 playoff teams from each conference and you'll have a more compelling product.

You wouldn't catch me watching a regular season baseball game even if it was the only thing on.

yesterday i watched melo chuck his way to 35 pts and i hated both teams. that should tell you something

Perhaps because the Coli demographic isnt the one that watches baseball.

Put it this way: I'm in my mmid 30s and all my life the number of baseball games I have watched mounts up to a grand total of.... 1.
And that was when i lived in Miami and the Marlins (then Florida Marlins) went to the Finals Series against the Cleveland Indians.

I'm sure if you go to other boards with more whites and latinos you'll find more baseball fans :manny:

Word and it would increase parody. I'm also for making the first round of best of five to increase parody. Sad thing though is that it'll never happen cuz they want more revenues

Dog, the average age of the NFL = 42, NBA = 36. That's a 18yr difference. And the numbers will continue to lower while MLB fans age and die.

I'm 21. Don't nobody care about the WS. Cats my age would rather watch NHL, and I'm bein 100 wit u.

Dog some Baseball teams put 40-50 thousand fans in the stands night in and Night out! What NBA team can do that? The Red Sox sold out a 38,000 seat Stadium for 10 years (820 straight Games)

The World Champion Miami Heat Struggle to sell out a 17,000 seat Arena. No comparing that.

People go to baseball games to get drunk in the middle of the day in the summer :heh:
And aren't tickets cheap as hell for the most part?
