NFL took all the holidays except Presidents' Day and that's the goal.

Three days rest that late in the season is absurd, especially if those teams have their byes early in the season.

Bruh the players complain about the Thursday games and the quick turnaround. Wednesday games though their bodies gonna be rocked.

NFL played Christmas games when Stern was running things.

Why we acting like its an either or thing? NFL will get it 30-40 Mil viewers. NBA will get its 2.5-5 Mil viewers. They are not competing in any sense of the word.

Yup, it's easy to do. Those teams playing would be the Thursday...at worst week prior, then play Wednesday, then the following Sunday. Or the bye week a couple of weeks prior, then have them play earlier each week after.

They played Christmas games on Sunday it wasnt whenever Christmas landed on. Sternband Roger/Paul T had a handshake agreement on that. The NBA used to have thanksgiving day games but them and the nfl made an agreement to stop those as long as the nfl did not step on their toes
