NFL probably saw they could get more money not having it being exclusive (that or EA didn't wanna cut as big of a check). Also gotta factor in the players union probably not wanting an exclusive deal to get bread from both EA and Take 2 as well.

I know the Madden sales weren't justifying the price they paid and the homie HHG has good industry contacts. It was supposed to go down in February but it disappeared. I think it may be true.

I hope this happens. EA is a cancer to gaming. Hope NFL 2k15 comes along and kufi slap Madden and take away half of EA too.

Wouldn't or shouldn't they need to be further into the production cycle to be able to release this game prior to the NfL season. Or have they been working on it without the players license and now just need to add the players and various aspects like play books and moves?

problem is where there's smoke there is fire. the only thing that still has me kinda hesitant is that in this day and age of social media, you'd figure a player that did some mocap work would have ran their mouth by now.
