He's staying to take over when Brees retries.
Brees better not pull a
when it is time for Teddy B. to take over.
That leaves the Saints with no QB
Teddy now knows the system, can win with it, and they're Superbowl ready.
What reason would there be to let him go, Taysum Hill?
Taysom is too busy getting snaps at RB, WR, TE, plus his play on Special Teams (coverage and returns) to be the full-time starter at QB.
At full strength, the Saints are the best team in the NFL. This was the case last year and we saw how that ended.
We have a lot of nagging issues that could prevent that, breh:
scrub UDFAs at WR after Mike and 34-year-old Ginn
questionable TE play
Secondary, despite holding their own so far, tends to be suspect
unathletic LB core outside of Davis (receiving TEs gives them problems)
potential O-line injuries (we usually lose at least one of them for a significant amount of time)
Special Teams fukkery that can surface at any given moment (yesterday, for example)
