The NFL has never successful predicted a generational quarterback
Peyton Manning.

But other than that, it's always 1000 times more people saying "I thought was supposed to be generational" than people actually saying that he was supposed to be generational. Dudes just assume that every #1 pick is supposed to be generational. It's hard enough finding a QB that will be a good starter with a long career.

Luck was solid but injuries robbed us of him.

Too early on Caleb IMO, but the talent is clearly there.

Sunshine was overrated. He was shaky his last year in college but had the look.

At least Arch got exposed already. He might end up a good QB but he isn't that dude like that.

It is no too early on Caleb. Think about how good Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes were in Year 2. That's what he would be doing if he was actually generational. We give people too many chances and then suddenly turn on em after like year 4 when its time to resign them and you see they gonna make 55 million a year.

You could have called them ass in year 2 like I do!

Are Lamar and Patrick good examples? They both got stability(HC/Team) with their respective organizations that Caleb hasnt gotten with the bears. Would Patrick/Lamar have those year 2s with the Browns?
