Sirianni is a mid level head coach who's carried by his GM and coordinators. When he sucked an play calling he turned it over to Shane who got the offense clicking all the way to the Super Bowl. Shane leaves and the offense falls off. Nick refuses to take over play calling. Kellen comes in and they win the chip. Kellen leaves and the offense is back to looking as bad as 2 seasons ago. Nick refuses to demote or fire his guy he promoted to OC. He refuses to take over play calling.

The front office should step in and fire Patullo. Nick won't do it because he knows if he has to call plays he'll get exposed. If they flame out in the playoffs he should be on the hot seat if not fired.

The Eagles are the defending champs, top of their division and tied for 2nd place in the NFC and Eagles fans got the coach on the hot seat :beli:

Eagles fans are spoiled. I don't think you guys understand how hard it is to win in the NFL consistently. You guys spent half of last year trying to get Sirianni out of there because the offense wasn't clicking and ended up in the Superbowl. The offense isn't clicking because Hurts is scared to run except to vulture touchdowns, saquon fumbling and missing gaps, and Brown and Smith route tree got 3 branches. Careful what you wish for because you guys going to run Sirianni out of town a get one of those young white "offensive geniuses" and end up at the bottom of the East.

I don’t think Hurts is scared to run. I thinks he just selective when to. It’s all about the risk/reward. Lamar learned that the hard way. The refs don’t protect mobile qbs like they do the pocket passers.

He's scared to. Look at his YPC before and after he had the knee contusion. Lamar did learn the hard way but he doesn't run to move the chains, he runs to score so you gotta take the good and bad with that type of play.

When you look at mahomes run he's to the sidelines and if he's in the middle of the field he drops before contact after getting the first. Hurts runs like it's last resort and slides after getting 2-3 yards now. Defenses aren't scared of his legs.
