Mahomes has only played 7 games so far too. He has 200 more yards than Stafford once you factor in rushing yards as well 1 extra total TD. Tied for INTs. Is above Stafford in QBR while having one less fumble. And I think Mahomes has been more consistent IMO despite just getting Rice back and missing Worthy for basically 3 full games.
After tonight throw everything you said in the trash :russ:

Well gotdamn man :wtf:

You're playing against a QB who's a RB playing QB, who can't make the proper reads, and who's brain locks up with pressure.

That same offense who's led by a RB playing QB had to start their #3 & 4 WRs.

So what does bum a$$ Al Golden do? Instead of consistently applying pressure to rattle the QB (while creating impossible 3rd downs) and lock up WRs who are barely NFL worthy talents with man coverage (especially pressing them at the LOS) to completely disrupt any timing and rhythm that the Jets passing game might establish, he constantly sends vanilla 4 man rushes while dropping 7 in soft zones that make it easier for those crappy WRs to get open while giving Fields mostly clean pockets and clear passing lanes that any NFL QB can complete passes with. How Zac Taylor didn't rip him a new one while demanding adjustments to the defensive gameplan is beyond me!

That was one of the meekest gameplans I've ever seen a defense use against a scrubby offense who literally has no passing game whatsoever. Add on the fact that the Bengals scored 38 points themselves and this should have been a cake walk if not for the fact that their DC is a glizzy-gobbling yellow back fakkit. No wonder his Hurricanes were soft as fukk and took those homo a$$ media pics when he was the Miami HC.

Even if he's wary of the fact that his own D isn't that good, what does it matter? The Jets offense is by far the worst unit (counting all 3 phases) in all of the NFL, just off the strength of the utter dog shıt that they trot out there at the QB position. You don't need talent to beat the Jets O, all you need is confusion and disruption!

I didn't lose money on the game. I had zero emotional investment in it. I'm just a guy who HATES blatant stupidity and cowardice. :pacspit:

And that's just me keeping it simple for the casuals. Don't get me testifying up in here about utilizing a few interior run blitzes, zone dogs, and 5 man pressures with a 2 or 3 deep match-up zone concept behind it if Golden was overly concerned with the Jets run / read option game.

I KNOW DEFENSIVE FOOTBALL.

Trust.
