Ravens just can’t put a full game together. The D missed some plays, but overall showed out…O has to hold this one. Lucky to win last night. And after watching that game, I have no idea what holding is/isn’t anymore.

Thought the Steelers would put up more of a fight, since that’s their MO. Can’t say they were looking ahead to the Ravens, because they knew (or should have) that the Bengals are a problem this year.

BTW, someone alluded to this upthread - I'll be surprised if Sam Howell isn't a Steeler next season. He just...IDK, looks and plays like one. And I bet Tomlin would make him a star, unfortunately (for me).

Solid W for LV. Thought they were going to be in full pack-it-in mode from here on, but they showed us something. Rich Bisaccia has a cool story and I’m rooting for him. He’s got some work to do, but it’d be nice to see him in the mix for the permanent job.

I wonder if we might be watching Russell Wilson playing in his future NFL home tonight.

20 of Tua Tagovailoa's 27 completions against the Carolina Panthers yesterday were within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage.

While it was great that he was so efficient, I don't think this signals any real improvement in his game.
Let's see how he performs next week.

You gonna do deep drops with that line :usure:

i noticed that with Tua. he's looking more comfortable in the pocket and the dolphins are doing a good job of moving him around and he's pretty accurate on the move. if he gets better at securing the ball then he'll have a good NFL career.

I think the issue is they just aren't that talented. Their problems go far beyond Ben being old. The offensive line is young/trash, Their defensive line is just Cam Heyward and he can't do it by himself. Stephon Tuitt hasn't played all season, They lost Tyson Alualu for the season in the first game. They gave up a 1st,2nd,and 3rd pick to move up for Devin Bush and his play has been way below the line. I understand he's coming off a knee injury but the effort just isn't there.

Their secondary is just an older Joe Haden(who probably won't be here next year) and Minkah Fitzpatrick.

Steelers won all those games last year cause they had a very good OL!

Still confused about people being shocked at the Titans spiraling. Injuries have made Tannehill their best player by default, and they're pulling brehs off practice squads to run the ball. All their wins post Henry injury were gotten in unsustainable fashion, so this really should've been expected.

On the other side, we might want to pump the breaks on the Patriots being a great team. They've gone on this run against injured and deeply flawed teams. The Bills game next up should show us something, but the Bills really didn't show any proof that they solved their offensive issues on Thursday.

I know that they've got injuries in play, but last night's game has to be the final bit of evidence needed to get Baker Mayfield the fukk out of there at their earliest convenience, unless his contract demands DRASTICALLY change. No way you shouldn't be able to get a win when the opposing QB hands the ball back to you four times.

I know he had some terrible moments last year, but I think this season is proof that Anthony Lynn wasn't the entire problem with the Chargers. Part of it might just be roster construction. The preseason talk of Ekeler being the LA version of Kamara seems to have forgotten that at his best, Kamara had an Ingram or Murray to help him be most effective with his touches. They don't have anyone even approaching that level in their backups.

How the fukk do you line up behind the guard to take a snap? Not only does Zimmer gotta go, Spielman gotta go for keeping him and giving Cousins ignorant money to basically be a less athletic Stat Padford.

Speaking of, we can all agree that it wasn't as if Detroit was somehow magically making him worse, right? He has, was, and always will be some mid.

I’m not going to let you get away with this. Explain. I think I know what you are saying but….

He was A PART of the problem.

Lions weren't always great around him, but they had teams in 2013, 2014, and 2016 that were good but he underachieved with.

Look up 2014 and 2016, weeks 16-17. They had a chance to win the division by beating Rodgers, and he didn't play as great as he should have

ESPECIALLY THAT 2014 TEAM. They had a great defense (#1), Reggie Bush had a great rushing season, the line was good, he had CALVIN Johnson, and Golden Tate.

And what did Stafford do? Led a passing offense that wasn't even top 10 in the league, and only won 11 games, and didn't even win the division - He had a chance to beat Rodgers for the division but disappointed (and those Packers teams in the mid 2010s weren't even that great!)

An elite QB would have won 13-15 games with that roster - proof? Goff and Garopollo won 13 games with comparable teams in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

Did Stafford always have great support? No. Those Patricia years were bad.

But the point is that when he did have good teams, he underachieved. Again, Jared Goff got the Rams to 13 wins a super bowl appearance, and so did Garopollo.

And if Stafford got it done with the mid 2010s teams, Patricia would have never been there in the first place.

On top of DET being a poorly ran team, stafford was also not good enough to win with talent. 2014 Lions is a prime example.
