so the question is since Mahomes is down and KC ain’t it right now. Who’s taking their slot as the overplayed team on tv?

He played like a glorified game manager im generally confused what game y'all was watching. It's not like he was making sideline boundary throws or something crazy. Most his passes was 5 yards or less.

Two weeks ago Phillip Rivers was sitting on his couch drinking a beer. He came in off the street with a potbelly and managed the Colts to a game they almost won. A team who many consider to be a top 5 team in the NFL.

Getting held to 16 points and 120 passing yards is being destroyed and humilated in today's NFL.

Sure we didn't see him carted off the field, sacked 10 times, or end with 10 turnovers. But he showed he doesn't belong out there. The bar is being placed extremely low for this guy.

And no it's not a surprise that a 44 year old, never really athletic QB with a borderline HOF case is good at reading defenses. So are today's top QBs.

What were your other QB options?

Cam Newton?
Unsigned guy
Practice squad from another team?

Hopefully medically cleared means playing out the last three games.

AR isn't saving the season either but Indy will likely need to rely on him next year, especially early. Plus good to get a look this season.

This Rivers experiment is aimless and a complete farce.

Honestly don’t see AR playing another snap for the Colts.

Can’t deny that y’all kept finding ways to win despite the injuries and against good teams.

However the real test begins now.

I know the last two games are gonna be tough but don’t sleep on the colts, like I did, them fools almost had us smh
They almost had the Seahawks because y'all are ass and fools gold.

Seahawks literally beat no top teams. Every good team they played they lost to.

Bunch of delusional fakkits :camby:

If Rivers is the only option or "best" option you might as well run a practice squad guy out there.

As stated before, Colts error was not looking to resolve this when AR got injured.

AR injury October 12.
Jones injury was around November 23.
Rivers started December 14.

So there's about a two month gap between Indy not having another viable QB on the roster, and being forced to sign Rivers.

Signing Rivers signals "our season isn't over, we're fighting to the end" but that shyt is over, Ballard/Steichen trying to protect their jobs by looking "competitive" over the last month.

We'll see. I feel Indy is basically going to be trapped into doing the following:

Resign Jones who may not be ready to start next year and isn't likely to last a full year.
Keep AR on the roster, last year of his deal.
No 1st round pick.
No one worth chasing in FA.
Then I don't know if they try to bring in someone else to compete with Jones or keep Leonard as #3 again.

This could change if we see a new coach or GM, but Indy doesn't have a lot of options.

Cannot believe the Broncos are 12-2

And the fukking Patriots are 11-3

:dead:
I'm not so surprised at the Broncos. Payton is a good coach. Once he took them to the playoffs with a rookie, the sky was the limit.

Pats surprised the fukk out of me. I thought that this would be a rebuilding year and they would have been in the playoffs year 3 under Vrabel. But he's also a good coach. Got shyt done quick.
