If Rivers is the only option or "best" option you might as well run a practice squad guy out there.

As stated before, Colts error was not looking to resolve this when AR got injured.

AR injury October 12.
Jones injury was around November 23.
Rivers started December 14.

So there's about a two month gap between Indy not having another viable QB on the roster, and being forced to sign Rivers.

Signing Rivers signals "our season isn't over, we're fighting to the end" but that shyt is over, Ballard/Steichen trying to protect their jobs by looking "competitive" over the last month.

A practice squad player would have thrown you out of the game or have been sacked up and down the field. I think you are grossly underestimating how good the Seahawks defense is. No one is saying Phillip Rivers is elite or anything but he played well enough for you to win the game and a practice squad player does not have 15 plus years of high level QB play and experience to navigate NFL defenses.

Even if Daniel Jones was healthy this would have been a tough matchup for you guys.

The Yay
Those teams yall played are practice squad.

@Colts
vs Bears
vs Seahawks

yall might go 1-2 and miss the playoffs
The Niners make the playoffs 100% with just one win. You must not understand math. They own a tiebreaker over the Lions because of conference record (best conference record at 8-2 rn)

Even if they lose out which is highly unlikely, as long as Detroit loses one game they will still make it.

I think you are overestimating how much I care about the score differential and not the eventual result. This a zero sum game, Colts do not get bonus points for keeping the game close. Rivers is not good enough to change the course of Indy's season.

Rivers did not play well enough to win. Just because the game was close, does not mean the QB played well enough.
16 Points and 220 yards of offense, 120 passing is not well enough to win.
4.4 yards per attempt and 0 ability to throw downfield is not well enough to win.
They lost to a team that didn't score a touchdown.

Arguing about whether or not Rivers is better than a practice squad player is asinine, Indy is crashing out in either case.

Steve Wilks gets fired every single year
Carolina passed him over and been looking like straight ass. This year is an improvement, but they would have saw the playoffs if they made him HC by now.

He was scapegoated with the Niners. Karma got their bytch asses for that. Sorenson was a complete shyt show.

The Jets. All you have to do is say the name and it answers your question.
