I don’t think Caleb will get a third HC in Chicago, so if it doesn’t work out with Ben it’s over for him there. They will probably fire Poles a year from now and then Ben will get to hire his own GM. If he’s still mid they will get a chance to draft their own Guy.

Initially that was my read on it too but it has to look better on Ben's part before we start talking about him with a new GM & QB. Assuming he had control this past offseason :

- his OL fix looks like a mess
- Loveland over Warren was confusing in real time and looks worse so far
- Burden in the 2nd never seemed like a fit or need with their other concerns, 2 catches so far

I won't get on him for the defense because it takes a time for a new DC to mesh with a unit, but the other stuff is directly related to him and his offense.

That game being on primetime yesterday might have been the worst thing that happened as it showed the blatant flaws with the tush push and why it should be banned.

I think what they’ll do is make not lining up in the neutral zone a point of emphasis next year and hope that fixes the issue rather than outright banning the play

Got popped in first pre season game running a post. Has been shook ever since. This offense from Tampa has lots of slants and over routes if he can't run them he's gonna be useless

QB play around the league with some exceptions is mostly trash.

Chiefs will get a win next week, but the next few weeks are brutal. This may be an off year for them.

Ben Johnson should bench Caleb before he loses the locker room completely.

Daniel Jones is the early favorite for comeback player of the year.

Until proven otherwise, Joe Burrow is too fragile to be dependable. Bengals are a snake bitten franchise.

Good/elite Offensive linemen are more important to a QB's -- and thus a team's -- long-term aspirations than elite skill guys are.

By no means am I saying that Mac Jones is better than Brock Purdy. However, knowing how QB-friendly the SF system is... it makes you wonder why SF pays big money to QBs if they can almost plug anyone in there and get competent play.

Caleb so far is a inconsistent, average qb. the hate he gets like these Ls are all his fault is weird.
