To be fair and this is just speaking to the Jaguars they have a top 5 run defense in the NFL. When Pat chucked that pick 6 that to me was the game even though the Jags did everything in their power to give that game back.

The other thing is unlike previous Jaguar coaches. Liam Cohen is willing to live and die off Trevor Lawrence as a QB and that may be the way moving forward.

That's fair. I don't want to discredit the Jaguars, as you can only play who is in front of you. I do think that KC was the best all-around OL -- even with Jawann Taylor at one of the tackles -- that defense had seen to this point of the season. And KC was fairly efficient with the run game, even when you take Mahomes' numbers away. They don't make the effort to establish the run as a legitimate part of the plan.

Now, Chiefs fans can come in and correct me/give knowledge, but take last night for instance. Pacheco had his longest run of the year at 16 yards on KC's second or third drive. He didn't touch the ball again for the rest of the first half. I don't know a GREAT deal about Pacheco but he seems to be a momentum runner that has to string together successful carries to get going.

Hunt gashes the Jags for 33 yards to open the second quarter. He sparingly gets carries/touches from then on. It's like they refuse to run the ball unless the defense has outright conceded it, and if a defense puts up the slightest bit of resistance to the run game once or twice, they say "Fukk it, go win it for us Pat"

they were using Pacheco/Hunt/Smith as a checkdowns. They added about 60 yards receiving. I believe Andy sees that as his version of "running".

TYRONE GA!
The NFL would have a lot more good/competent teams if they weren't so hellbent on "acquiring a franchise QB" being the first step of "successful team-building".

Detroit is fine. They had a bad outing against a good team/rival in week 1. Business as usual since.

Hard to believe that right now, Baker Mayfield and Daniel Jones are probably the front-runners for MVP so far.

The Eagles should trade AJ Brown. Only for team chemistry's sake. I don't think Brown is a bad locker room guy by any means, but usually, a team goes as its leaders go, and the Eagles are led more by a "win by any means" group while Brown cares that a dominant team is actually dominant.

teams gotta start backing off this QB over everything shyt they've been on. You need a complete team. Unless you Josh, Pat, Lamar, I'm not giving you 50 mill plus a year. Build a complete team and stop overreaching on cats cause WE GOTZ TO HAVE A QB!!

he might not be as good Brock, but from what I've seen so far Mac Jones (who?) is performing pretty damn good at a fraction of the price. Good coaches and systems can make above average to average cats with talent look good. Add a loaded team in front of them and give yourselves a chance.

Daniel jones looks like one of the best QBs in the league. The right system and players will have an average QB look amazing.

To be fair when Saquon was healthy it coincided with Daniels Jones best years in NY the problem is the shytty offensive line holding them back and Shane Steichen is a better coach than any of the Giants coaches.

I’ve learned that I’ve officially become an old ass “back in my day “ ass nikka because I cant begin to comprehend the outrage over the Gannon/Demarcado shyt

This the softest shyt I’ve ever seen
It’s super soft but you can’t put your hands on anyone. Yell all you want but you can’t do that. Word is locker room wasn’t feeling that either. It’s a different time :yeshrug:

FACTS...
Josh has the 2nd best offensive line (1st when the Eagles don't have a healthy Lane Johnson)
Pat, albeit SBs....both SB losses were due to their offensive
Lamar...even with a shyt offensive was able to mask their flaws to the point a talentless hack like Faale earned a Pro-Bowl bid

Baker Mayfield is a damn good QB. He's had a very interesting career arc. He got a LOT of shyt his first few years in the league. Probably more shyt than any QB I can remember over the past 10-15 years. A good amount was probably deserved, but he's completely turned his career around down in Tampa Bay. Extremely impressive.
The browns fired a coach for him, hired the dude he wanted, surrounded him with all types of offensive talent

He found a situation where he can be the best qb in a bad nfc south

The nfl tried to make him the face of the league after his rookie year

He got shytted on more than any other qb the last 15 years?

Y’all be putting all types of extras on shyt like baker got done bogus
