All these QB’s getting blasted out the pocket. High speed collisions during a scramble do a multiple amount more damage than taking a clean hit in the pocket. It’s like people have forgot the injury risk goes up outside the pocket.

It’s like if you know you’re a bad athlete you have an instinct to hit the deck and be safe rather than scramble and make yourself a moving target.

we all know players are gonna do and say whatever to stay on the field. why do we not assume the same of the on field generals (i.e. coaches)?

similar situation just played out with the vikings and carson wentz. coaches mentality in regards to toughing it out to stay on the field is closer to the players than people are assuming when talking about these situations
