He kinda stayed there for too long though, I can understand why the refs made the decision. On another day they could've made a different call :manny:

Yeah, I understood the call and was like :ehh: initially ...

but then on replay I'm not sure he could've gotten up fast enough anyway.

I gotta say this after this Blues-Ducks game... As someone who really followed NHL more in the 90s & early 00s, I just love that players like Selänne, Koivu (& Jagr too) are still playin as well as they are playin in their 40s.

:leon: All the sudden the Rangers look like a good team. Kredier coming back and JT Millers emergence have given them depth they actually have 3 solid lines now. :blessed: at Torts finally sitting Boyle he's worthless. Game against the Bruins tommorrow should tell us a lot about the Rangers.

for habs fan, 1st line will now be Pacioretty, Galchenyuk and Gallagher

second line stays the same (bourque, plek and gionta), third line is cole desharnais and prust, 4th line is moen, eller and armstrong i think...

that 3rd line is kinda weak imo

What could PK Subban have done that makes him the most hated player in the game? He doesn't play dirty and he's not an a$$hole off the ice. Sure he held out for a bigger contract, but so have many other players. He has a flamboyant personality, but he's not the first nor will he be the last.

P.K. Subban tops SI's list of most hated NHLers
P.K. Subban tops SI's list of most hated NHLers - sportsnet.ca

One would be hard-pressed to find someone who has met the charismatic P.K. Subban and would use the word hate to describe their emotional response to the hockey player.

And yet on Monday, the Montreal Canadiens defenceman ranked Number 1 on Sports Illustrated’s top 10 list of the “NHL’s most hated players.”

The list, written by Allan Muir, does not appear to be based on a survey or poll but is rather a subjective ranking of “the guys you most love to loathe” and a response to hockey’s complete absence from Forbes’ ranking of “America’s 10 most disliked athletes.”

The ranking kicks off with a pair of Buffalo Sabres, Patrick Kaleta (No. 10) and Steve Ott (9), followed by Detroit Red Wings winger Jordin Tootoo (9); Vancouver Canucks finger-biter Alex Burrows (7); Washington Capitals new signee Mike Ribeiro (6); Phoenix Coyotes suspension posterboy Raffi Torres (5); Chicago Blackhawks embellishment artist Daniel Carcillo (4); the Boston Bruins’ “little ball of hate,” Brad Marchand (3); and another Canucks forward, Max Lapierre (2), who “might be the league’s premier hit-and-run artist,” according to the article.

Though ranking Subban No. 1, SI defends the defenceman’s panache, arguing that “the game needs more characters like him.”

So why is Subban viewed as more hated than the other 750 or so players in the show?

“It’s obvious that he has bridges to rebuild, and not just because of his lengthy contract dispute,” Muir writes. “Subban’s flashy personality on and off the ice is a break from hockey tradition, and that clearly rankles some people. Too bad.”

I love PK and think this reeks of cism, but to be devil's advocate he has been known to play dirty in the past (slew footing for example).
