Again, the fighting in practice with teammates, the consistent problem with being late, the Mike Tyson mask fiasco, the talk of drug issues. It wasn't one accident.

If you wanna keep clinging to the race card with Ray Emery and his failings as an NHL player, go ahead. I think you're dead ass wrong though.

Exactly my point,theres tons of these examples....You think Bill Guerins ass was outed in the media or on TV ? Nobody says sh1t about this stuff ,but they want to talk about a 2 week contract hold out

Hockey as a sport is fine but the entire culture inside it including players,fans and team executives is so infiltrated with bigotry it makes you sick...

Why is what he has on his mask an issue for the team or organization ?
Its just interesting that it blows up front page status with him and not hundreds of other guys in the league whom the writers and media love...

and i dont consider Emery a failure...Hes paid millions to play,he came back from what should have been a career ending hip injury,hes a success to me in every way...

Now he's a back-up, onto his third team in four years, making less than half of his Sens contract. You think his career has gone the way he wanted?

Alot of it has to due with his injury,given he was able to come back at all and play at this level im sure hes fine with where hes at...Hes in a good situation he might get his name on the cup this season...

I'm a Tyson fan, but putting him on his mask, especially back then, when his public image wasn't as soft and cuddly as it is now, was not a smart move, especially by a rookie.

I didn't read every post in there, but basically it looks like a bunch of them are mad that a black guy would dare talk about racism. Props to the ones that are defending Kane though.

I remember reading an article about Anson Carter one time and apparently alot of people didn't like him because he had dread locks and wore Sean John clothes. I'm glad more and more blacks are picking up hockey and not changing who they are to fit in.
