Well first thing first. Most women think they have more to offer than vagina but in reality I believe that that is just a small percentage. I think what's not talked about enough is that monogamy is really not that old of a concept. It has been many men with a herm or polygamous or polygamy situation. To it is a dangerous ground to try to shame men into marriage or do the tired ol troupe of "your going to do a lonely on old man" . It is sad to see that men and women alike are trying shame men into something in essence dosent really benefit them all the while feminism and women have changed the landscape.

I think a lot more men are going to respond like Nick cannon. I'm not getting married and I'm coo wit that. I've been used to people not having my back ...so it's nothing new not to have a women quote on quote in my corner. Now all I gotta is wait for the world to blame me for everything then the cypher will be complete. I think men are tired of living in a world were no matter what a women does its perfect but being what a man IS is a terrible thing.

I don't think women are trying to shame men into marriage. I do think a lot of women have missed the boat on what marriage is all about. Many women get caught up in the theatrics surrounding marriage like having a big wedding and getting an expensive ring.

It's a side show and many miss what it's all about which is a man thinking enough of you to want to spend the rest of his life with you.

If men are going to sleep with and impregnate these women they are good enough to marry as well in my opinion. Some men just do a horrible job in choosing women to create offspring with.

Most everyday women that have more than a vagina to offer with a good head on their shoulders, somewhat educated, and decent or better job are not going to be content in that kinda situation forever. They are eventually going to want more.

Marriage and custodial custody of children do heavily favor women if things go sour and situations have to be mediated in court.

That being said when life starts getting hectic and you have to deal with real shyt like the death of loved ones, illness, getting older and the challenges that come with that, drama on your job, and other things you want someone in your corner.

The law doesn't even recognize longterm girlfriends/boyfriends in remotely the same manner that they do husbands/wives. You should familiarize yourself with successions (you might already be familiar with them). The law doesn't care about Keisha who you been sleeping with for 25 years. Your girlfriend has no rights to heir property, retirement benefits, etc.

I used to think like a lot of these people in my 20s with the GMB shyt but now in my 30s I realize the importance of having a good woman by your side and creating a family and solid foundation in which you can always depend on. Things go wrong all the time. You're always going to need someone to depend on.

Just looking at my own family dynamics growing up and looking at my mom and my uncle. They did and still do so much for me. They're getting up there in age and if I don't have a family I'm going to be all alone in this world. Nothing more wack than being an old ass man with no family, spending holidays alone, having no one to share your hard work with, create memories with and pass whatever you create down to. Friends are one thing but you realize they're likely spending their holidays with their family. Most of my friends spend holidays traveling with their significant other. Who wouldn't want that?

In theory what your saying nobody really has a problem wit. The environment in the US may not be that conducive for most relationships to last that long. Which is why most men are not getting married and the precent goes up as years progress according to CNN/fox news. I'm do what I want relationship wise and I'm do what works for me. I'm in the military and it's worse the divorce rate is crazy. Most people don't mind getting a divorce cause they end up getting kids that is like some weird consolation prize since the relationship didn't work out. People fail to understand that relationships have become a business wether we like it or not. Most men are walking away from that business plan. I don't have think they will EVER change the divorce laws or laws for men . Today women move around better than men do .

See I don't mind feminism and what it continues to do at all. Matter of fact in my dark sense of humor I wonder what is the end goal with feminism? No matter you give women I don't believe they will ever be happy . Look at The Ayesha Curry red table talk . What she did was prefect and in my dark sense of humor in my mind I'm glad it happened.
