Luke definitely balled out in Dallas. We can't act like he was some underachieving slouch. But it really does seem like he has come into this season on a mission. Being traded, against your will, without even knowing what was going on is liable to light a fire under a great player. Other's have noted the irony that getting traded like that may have been what it took to get absolute apex Luka and that he may have never been motivated to this degree in Dallas. But we are talking 2 games though.

Trade an MVP caliber player in his prime for an injury prone big post 30 years of age brehs. This dumbass didn't even ask for Reaves smh. :mjlol:
someone on ESPN said Nico was smart to take Christie instead of Reaves. Just a fukking stupid ass take

Willfully napalmed their entire franchise after making the finals. at least the 1998 Bulls won their 6th chip before Krause pulled the plug :dead:

And apparently they don't have a lot of picks. So they can't get much better than they are now. I hope Cooper Flagg realizes this and leaves

It was that idiot Tim Bontemps, somebody uploaded footage of him contradicting himself months later saying they should've got Reaves :russ:

Nico was always right. Luka has dunked the ball 2 times in 3 years. And he’s only 26. His defense has gotten even worse. There’s no way in hell you pay some regressing that quickly $375 million a year.

His ceiling was reached when he had a true alpha scorer to carry him when it matters (Kyrie) because he will never be in shape.

He only played 3 months of basketball this year and he looked like Larry Bird on his way out of the league last night :picard:
“Luka isn’t in shape and gets fatter every year because he plays too much basketball” @Gil Scott-Heroin :bryan:

The regression can be seen in real time. Last year he was getting by Rudy and scoring on him much easier. This year he had to rely on fadeaways and long bombs. Nico was right
The WOAT now and forever.

:wow:

no it wasnt. it was NEVER the "right idea". No part of this makes Nico look good
That's what the dumbass Nico defenders fail to grasp. If you're going to be brazen enough to trade a generational player, perennial MVP candidate and someone that took you to the Finals 6 months earlier because of some dikk measuring contest then it better be for a Herschel Walker type of haul and then some.

This fool traded the the equivalent of Steph, Kobe, Magic, Bird etc for literal scraps.
