Hmmm, now why would NGO's be upset when the people they are giving aid to are considering the idea of no longer accepting that aid?

They did do a survey on how people were reacting to China's presence in Africa. China decided to do business WITH Africa instead of treat them like a charity case and throw "aid" at them. Due to the business there has been the construction of infrastructure. I think they still need to be careful and not let China do what the western world has done.

Make money with the Chinese (the Chinese can benefit by having a good relationship with Africa. China has billion of people and not enough land for agriculture.
Africa has a lot of land and resources. The two Continents working together can put Africa in a goo position and keep China in a good position as well.

You have to be careful with the consent angle. Animals can't consent to be hearded, being held as pet, raised in cages, hunted, butchered and eaten. Yet it's perfectly fine.

Spare me nikka. When has the so called barrier of natural communication and consent ever mattered in regards to conditions animals are subjected to by humans? Animals dont 'consent' to being trained for human entertainment. Animals dont 'consent' to being placed on a leash and walked about. Animals dont 'consent' to being locked in other peoples homes/buildings. Animals dont 'consent' to being taken from their natural habitat and placed in cages. Animals dont 'consent' to being killed and used for luxury clothing, carpet, shoes .e.t.c. Yet our often liberal society generally has no issue with either of the latter occurring.
