So thats an excuse to not get an education? I hope thats not where your taking your logic lol typical smart dumb talk
Why did I know it was you who was replying to me? You are always shytting on black americans, and defending anyone who is a black foreigner regardless of what they say

And how are you gonna ask me a question, then answer it only to say I'm "smart dumb". You are biased, and your post shows it

Anyway, I am one who is all about education, just not necessarily going to college to get it. I believe in educating children to the point they like learning all the time, not just when school is in session. I learned math from doing music, and weed, sounds crazy but that is how I got serious with it. School taught the basics, but it got boring, and I was not good in math as I got older. Mind you I was an honor student before J.H.S. The same with science, I taught myself, and could debate with the best of them.

In the end though, its all about MONEY! Children see this, and is why they don't take school serious, its a wrong outlook, but its not necessarily wrong. I know in my life all the people who lived good didn't have a college education. My cousin got his degree has a high paying job, but he is always working, and doesn't own any business. Meanwhile the people who just had a h.s. education & some type of skills owned their own businesses, and lived an enjoyable life with a big family.

What the kids need to learn is use your young years to gain SKILLS, and then you don't need a lot of college years wasted, and being in debt. Then they need to learn how to network, as that is how you get the job. That is another skill I learned dealing with the real world. If enough young blacks did this, it would create a whole sector for them. But, like I stated earlier, blacks are so focused on looking good, most of us are not gonna understand my post. I know my kids are gonna learn this EARLY, I'm not raising no customer!

Nigeria is not even in the top 10 in literacy in Africa. So you know Nigerians rate of literacy is lower than African Americans.

On a real note I wish the very best for all brothers and sisters no matter where they are, but those Igbos that come to the USA need to change their ways. They need to realize that there are millions of African Americans with college degrees that are just as or more successful and richer than any Igbo in the USA or for that matter in Africa. So those Igbos need to gain an appreciation for where they are and the people that made their success possible in the USA. It is odd that I have rarely if ever seen comments from a Fulani, Hausa or Yoruba people that match the hubris and arrogance that repeatedly come from the mouths and fingers of Igbos.

If you did further research and looked at those abysmal numbers you would find that the reason we are #1 in illiteracy, insecurity and poverty is because of the Muslim north. And THEY are the ones that have been in power while most of the educated ones have been locked out of critical positions to move that goddamn country forward.

@BlackJesus He just proved my point!

Without resources, you are just dreaming with a degree. The whole point of knowledge is to use to gain resources, or in our world, money. BUT, even then, money is just a tool to get more resources. I could easily hire someone who has skills in STEM, and get more resources, but if everyone has skills in STEM, how can you survive as a society? You need musicians, plumbers, hair dressers, cooks, scientists, researchers, and more to create a society that is thriving. If you have too much of one of those things, you will have too much competition, and no one will get anywhere. That means LEAVING your land to get MONEY, and then you create a drain of the best of your people, only to leave the rest who are just good enough, and they will still be competing. This will create a place of envy, jealosy, and infighting, meaning an outsider can come and conquer, then have power over the people.

Learn something from this "smart, dumb, nikka"

Above the fray.
There will always be idiots. There will always be propagandists. There will always be hustlers.

If you let those people shape your view of yourself and the world around you, you're doomed before you even start.
great post

They got their music, dramas and movies over there too. But three to four hours of educational programming daily is a requirement on the air waves. The shyt is balanced. They got a lot of competitive shows about education that you'll never see in america.
Thanks, but this is along the lines of what I meant about BET programming history being forgotten.
BET aired HBCU academic competitions when I was a kid.(I won't mention the name of the college that used to kick ass because there are HBCU alum here from other schools, heheheheh)

I'm 100% certain that education competition shows air currently on American television. Not on prime time or on the most watched channels, but definitely on the air.
I think that people are presented a VERY limited view of African Americans in the popular media. This is true here and overseas when American media is distributed. I think Nigerians have or will experience this in the future...as Nollywood films increase in popularity and become the basis of how Nigerians are viewed worldwide.

Nah nigerians are arrogant as hell. It ain't gonna stop. I'm just giving y'all an insight of why they act so pompous all the time in america.

In nigeria, they be having math/science olympic shows etc on national tv. Education is like a sport over there, they are competitive as hell with each other. So when they come over here, they don't give a fukk.
And AAs aren’t arrogant? :francis:. Our most popular music genre is based around being arrogant

Most of them Yoruba folks are in London and they be on the biggest nonsense. Igbo people just out number them in states that's it really

Don't forget you have folks like me, @patscorpio @Gold and @The Odum of Ala Igbo who are well versed in AA history and African history so not all of us are like that

I'm literally Bout to go pick up the autobiography of Malcom x for the 3rd time and go read some Elijah Muhammad books within the next month

The problem is here is that people choose to ignore history for stem. There's a lot of shyt they don't even teach in schools like the bombing of black wall st, juneteenth, or medical experimentation of black ppl and organ harvesting. I found all this the hard way

I have ZERO issues with this. :francis:

Wish we did this more stateside with our mentality as ADOS than focusing way too much sometimes on entertainment .

Look at this agent looking for problems as usual.

Y'all gotta watch how certain posters move in these topics. This Clown made a divisive thread and it got bushed then he avoids this thread when I forward it to him and finally pops up to instigate fukkery.

So what is the agenda? :patrice:

Promoting hatred and division. Coli brehs keep your eyes open and ask yourself why a Black person would go so hard against Black unity.

This ain't about ADOS and Africans. Study how these agents move on here and what motivates them.
