Age of the coward
to fear the humility of losing a fight so much, you'd risk throwing away your freedom, dealing with prison politics and eating shytty food for the rest of your life. you've got to be a weak MF or a nothing to live for, crash test dummy azz nikkas.
like Pac said
"
nikkas bustin' shots like they lost they mind
Like twenty-five to life never crossed they mind "
you aint got to be nostalgic for "back in the day" because it's already back; everywhere is becoming like 80's crack era NY or early 90s N.O.
last time I got to fighting was because some nikka felt some type of way about his nikka hyping up my boxing (just decent at the time) and made a remark about how he gon shoot me when he should have addressed the nikka that made him feel like a bytch.
I didnt take to well to nikkas talking bout they gon kill me....for nothing, so I jumped out the window and fukked him up and made it a point to let him know I was willing to take it way further than he would..... fortunately he was all talk and wasnt as reckless as he he portrayed. But it could have been way more serious....over nothing.
I always ponder about some of the shyt I was caught up in and it makes me cringe and further reinforce how I never want to go back to being that damn reckless again.
the average human being really is 'That Dumb'. Never underestimate their stupidity. Never assume the other person will have the the forsight and discernment to think rationally and resolve conflicts without fukking up both of your lives.
Not the religious type, but the phrase "this too shall pass" , while not a direct creed, its something I live by. I always try to keep this in the forefront of my mind.
whatever you feel slighted, pissed off, or depressed over, you got to remember 'this moment shall pass". It's going to feel like you're lying to yourself at that moment. But you'll be glad you didnt act on impulse once you get over it. you'll also strengthen your ability to deal with setbacks and a$$holes.
Stay centered at all times, and let your enemies die by their own sword; kill them with their own momentum basically.
conflict resolution is not about "running", it's about side stepping, pivoting and mitigating the issue.
