I'm way more excited about a real Nintendo console that has the library of amazing Nintendo 1st party titles with the strengths of a PS4.

I'm already salivating at seeing this game with it's true potential. The artstyle already looks ridiculous.

Someone from Gaf contacted the writer of the WSJ article and he replied with this:

-Several people who said who have seen a demo said what they saw is impossible to run on a computer without a "industry-leading" or "cutting-edge" chips. Cutting-edge in what way, they refused to elaborate.
-And an important thing to remember, probably you know well already, is that chip specs won't be finalized until much closer date to the release.

So according to what this guy is saying, the NX console is aiming to at least be as powerful as the PS4 and Xbone.

However, things could changed quickly and the console could get downgraded in favor of some gimmick, god forbid.

I want to see a working tech demo before i even attempt to even thinking of buying an NX....

Nintendo constantly fails to push their systems to the limit to keep up, they dont cultivate 3rd party publishing they are stuck in the past with this shyt. i love nintendo but they need to figuratively grow up...

I know but I believe if ninty can get out of that holding onto the past mindset and maybe extend olive branches to other companies, maybe it can rekindle things...

its a longshot... I do also remember other japanese companies talking bout the arrogant disrespect nintendo had for them... burning bridges is not a good look nintendo..

I'm just excited for a new console I love speculating and hyping up this shyt. It reminds me of being a kid. I hated the long ass life cycles of the ps3 and 360. I have a pc with two Titan X's and I'm still hyped over a $400 console

Breh.... no shyt lol. I don't mean we should get Smash Bros with cinematic angles, I mean the fidelity of shyt like that or close to it in real time.

Like sort of how most games these days have real time cutscenes and gameplay that blend into each other unlike the old days where you'd get that jarring cut to gameplay where the graphics looked completely different.
