Things can change. Remember it's business. it ain't nothing personal.

I know but I believe if ninty can get out of that holding onto the past mindset and maybe extend olive branches to other companies, maybe it can rekindle things...

its a longshot... :manny: I do also remember other japanese companies talking bout the arrogant disrespect nintendo had for them... burning bridges is not a good look nintendo.. :francis:

When I mean 3rd parties aint coming back, I mean that they wont get those BIG high budget AAA blockbuster and annual sports games that the PS4, PC and Xbone get.

WARNING, long ass post coming:

Activision might throw them a bone with Skylanders, Guitar Hero and some licensed game like Spiderman or something. Jury is out on Call of Duty since the last two games didn't make it to the Wii U even though they appeared on last gen consoles.

EA where the first 3rd party devs to throw Nintendo in the bushes before the Wii U came out so I think that particular "unprecedented partnership" is over. So no Madden, No Live, no Mass Effect, no FIFA, and no Need For Speed for Nintendo.

Ubisoft might give some scraps like Just Dance and Rayman related games but as far as their mature games go, Nintendo wont get them.

2K and Bethesda have never really worked with Nintendo (Bethesda put out a grand total of ONE game on the NES) and will likely never will.

WB will probably end up giving the NX a remastered version of Arkham Knight: The Whispers Edition

Jury is out on future Mortal Kombat games.

Unless Rockstar is planning on making another Bully or Table Tennis, Nintendo wont be seeing anything from them. NX handheld could get a San Andreas Stories tho:patrice:.

As for the Japanese 3rd parties, I suspect that Nintendo have already struck deals with them behind closed doors for months now, otherwise Square Enix wouldn't have blurted out that DQX and XI were coming to the NX.

Sega will give them Sonic games obviously.

Capcom will provide them with Monster Hunter and Ace Attorney. Jury is out on mainline Resident Evil and Street Fighter. However, Ryu's appearance in Smash 4 give me a tiiiiiinnny bit of hope that a Nintendo vs Capcom game could happen.

Square Enix, as said above, will provide the Dragon Quest games and are open to the possibility of Final Fantasy XIV appearing on the NX. Mainline Final Fantasy games on the otherhand...

Bandai Namco will continue to co develop Nintendo games.

Koei Tecmo/Team Ninja will probably make Hyrule Warriors 2 (or better yet Fire Emblem Warriors) and hopefully continue the Fatal Frame series.

And Level 5 will continue to make Professor Layton and Yokai Watch for Nintendo.

Konami, Silent Hills and Chapter 3.:troll:

I dunno about FROM Software since they've literally laughed at the possibility of a Souls game on a Nintendo console.

Then there's the indie scene, which seems stable compared to the relationship with the big western companies. Nearly Every Kickstarter title had a Wii U, 3DS version in the works. So I expect a ton of indie games heading toward the NX platforms.

So yeah Japanese and indie support seems to be straight but as far as those big western AAA games are concerned, I wouldn't hold my breath at all unless Nintendo gets the old Yakuza gang out of retirement and strong arm every single on of them.

EA didn't throw Nintendo under the bus before the Wii U. You forgot they released Mass Effect 3, NFS Most wanted, and Fifa 13 on the Wii U?

Idk but they should stop being so outdated and actually drop something modern. It's crazy how the damn Wii U didn't have a built in Ethernet port nor a optical out port. Little shyt like that was so dumb. They banked on that Tablet controller and tanked.
Also, the shyt only had 32 GB of space. I went to download Yoshi Wooly World and can't even buy the shyt because I don't have enough space :snoop:

The Wii U version of Mass Effect 3 came out after the release of the Mass Effect Trilogy on all the other platforms except for Wii U with all the DLC. Meanwhile the Wii U version of Mass Effect 3 was sold at full price at launch without the DLC nearly a year after it's initial release and all the Wii U got was a comic strip recap of the previous games .:francis:

If that's not getting the short end of the stick then I dunno what to tell you.:yeshrug:

NFS Most Wanted was suppose to be a launch title and was ready to go but was on hold for several months for no real reason. It ended up coming out with fewer maps but it did look a bit better than the PS3 and 360 versions

Both Wii U versions of FIFA and Madden were missing features that were in the other versions.

EA knew what was up before the Wii U was released and saw the flop coming and bounced as quickly as they could but not without throwing the scraps it was promised to the system. If EA didn't throw them under the bus, they would have stuck with the Wii U along with Ubisoft for as long as they could but they threw the deuces at Nintendo after March of 2013 and never looked back. (Well not without some EA devs acting like a scorned female after a breakup on Twitter during the course of 2013.)

Funny, before 2012 EA and Nintendo were happy to work with each other, calling their partnership "Unprecedented" and singing the Wii U's praises then completely changed within a year. Something really bad must have happened there, some suggest that it was Nintendo's refusal to use the Origin OS for the Wii U or it was something else entirely. But one this is clear, EA and Nintendo have some bad issues to work out with each other and I don't see them working with each other for a very long time.

Sounds like Nintendo is trying to fix that with the alleged one ecosystem setup their setting up. I'm guessing the NX and the handheld will be like this. :manny: Idk.

Be more powerful then PS4 and online capabilities that can compete with PSN/Live and get all the 3rd party games PS4 does and I'll be there day 1 Nintendo, but ofcousre that won't happen. Sohh I'll be getting my kid his own PS4 this Xmas. fukk you Nintendo, you burned kids and parents with the Wii U. Did not expect to have to replace my kids Wii U so soon, but the thing gets no games and the PS3 is old as fukk, now I need to get him his own PS4 so he stop playing on daddy's. Costing me more money Nintendo. fukk you:mjcry:

Make the stupid decision of having kids then complain when they're an annoying money sink, brehs.

I think some of you are confusing this as an issue thats resulting from "nintendo's reputation" rather than the actual strength of its hardware and what its capable of. Think about it, these nikkas released their nextgen console first and it was weaker than the damn ps3/360 :dead:

Thats why no one was developing for it, plus those weak ass peripherals

Not to mention that shyt(Wii U) was already dead out the gate. Why would someone buy a clearly inferior version of a game when there's a MUCH better version out there??

Breh this is false.
It has twice the amount of RAM than last Gen consoles and a better GPU.

It is not comparable to a gamecube.
It's CPU is though. The CPU in the Wii U is a hold over from the game cube days.

The Wii U is launched woefully outdated almost inconceivably so.

Yeah it's not like consoles come out the gate with state of the art hardware, hell even the PS4 and Xbone are technically outdated now compared to whats out now. There are PC's and laptops from 2011 that could out perform both consoles, but since developers think they're both "Good enough" to develop for, there's little to complain about.
Unless you're making an Xbone and it struggles to run games at full 1080p 60 fps.:lolbron:

But Nintendo really thought they could get away with selling 2004 level hardware in 2012. That's far from "Good enough" for 3rd parties, especially big western 3rd parties, it's straight up unacceptable.

Nintendo just needs to make the NX "Good enough" for 3rd parties and maaaaaaaby they'll come around eventually.

Cept for EA, as I said before thats dead. No more EA games for Nintendo.
