Nintendo NX shipping Oct-Nov 2016

All last year, we were told "Wait till 2016 for more details"

Now it's 2016, Nintendo has to start talking about it now before these wild rumors get spread around.

Nintendo's investors meeting is on the 2nd of February and GDC the following month, if there was anytime to talk about the NX in detail it's the next two months.

Nintendo cannot wait till E3 anymore to reveal it, especially if they plan on releasing this thing this year.

Sony announced the ps4 Feb 20th 2013. We saw games and the hardware too.

Plus, the 3DS and Wii U were announced prior to E3.

I just hope we get some info soon, Nintendo should learn from what Sony did with the PS4 and realize you need to get momentum on your side. The groundswell of support for the system with the focus on games, cheaper price, etc that it was able to carry sales even w/the lack of major 1st party titles.

Now in 2016, they actually have a really strong lineup of exclusive titles kicking off with SFV next month and PSVR and VR in general is really intriguing to me.

Nintendo can at least tide us over with news of what the fukk the NX is, a demo of some games and some system features and then at E3 show more exclusive games, more features, reveal launch and price and some other megaton and call it a day. There's room for two.

They might be using this time to cook up a quick Mario preview which is desperately needed...let them do what they need to do.

Interested in seeing how this plays out but if they aren't going to get serious about chasing the same crowd Sony & Microsoft are, I don't think they have much more of a future in consoles. Based on history, I imagine there's going to be Mario, Zelda, and DK games and hardly anything from third-parties. It's been that way ever since N64. Nintendo is an island.

And I have no interest in going back to motion controls or using a handheld to play a console.

I'm pretty sure the battery in my Gamepad is dead despite me not using it in about a month after fully charging it
