my rebuttal is E3 has lost sight of what it once was its gotten out of control and out of hand and even when they tried to scale it back people rejected it. i don't think Nintendo suffers from not participating in the huge spectacle side of things. they're about the games and quite honestly as one of their supporters that owns their systems and isn't even a fanboy of there's that's all i need to see from them.

they don't need to gather up the gaming press in a room and add up worthless stats about how many combined people have ever logged into the internet from one of their systems and parade around on stage like they're the only big dikk swinging in gaming. show the logos of every game developer that has a development kit from them and brag about it. they don't need pop artist hosting concerts with a bunch of flashy lights and back up dancers. they don't need to have a bunch of developers come out and show games running on development kits that have better specs than the actual hardware nor have a bunch of pre-rendered movies of concepts that aren't even actual games. they don't need to hide the obvious sequel to the million selling franchise nobody doubted they were gonna make until the last thing on the stage then show a pre-rendered trailer of a game we won't see for a couple years.

all Nintendo needs to do is bring the heat and release the games. forget all the nonsense. life or die by the quality of their software.

i actually hate the fact there are three consoles and no cross platform online play, there are games on EVERY system I really wanna play and still be able to talk to other people on different systems in a party chat. I wish I had a system that could play all the things

at least somebody gets it. those E3 press events are BS. they're generic as hell they do the same tings at every one. people think that this year is gonna be different because new systems are coming. the pressers are still gonna be garbage.

let's be real about it when the Xbox 360 launched people were playing King Kong and Perfect Dark Zero. system launches are typically mediocre as hell. the last launch game that actually left a legacy i can even remember off the top of my head was Halo. most launch games are throw away meanwhile Nintendo will be headed into their second year of games where systems start getting gems.

Does anyone here remember how big of a let down last years E3 conferences were? I remember sitting through it think "ok it's gonna pick up soon, any time now" then it was over. Seriously, the Sony PS4 event earlier this year was better than all three E3 presentations last year, and even then there was a lot of shyt in that I could have did without. I'm not saying E3 is worthless, I still think its extremely important to anyone who follows gaming, however the presentations haven't been great for a long time. Just show me what you have in store for us and I'm happy. I don't need a whole lot of talk about what gaming is today and how this product will revolutionize the industry, just show me the games and let me make up my own mind.
