I just hope it's a legit console Pokémon, the handheld joints have gotten stale and that level of game play will not cut it on a console. Sure it will still sell but it would be disappointing if it's just a graphical upgrade.

At a minimum there needs to be a legit open world, not a world on paths and we should be able to see Pokémon out and about doing stuff.

Yeah thats been my biggest issue with pokemon they've been doing the same shyt since red&blue.

I always wanted a pokemon game on the similar scale as a Xenoblade game.

I hope this new joint takes some notes from BOTW or somethin

Something like that but with worse graphics to account for the Pokémon activity. Walking along a defined path is unacceptable.

Bout to finally cop one tomorrow or next week. Gonna be blunt: aside from Mario Odyssey and Zelda BOTW, what other big name and indie stuff is available on the Switch? My list atm is:

Golf Story
Mario/Rabbids
Romancing SaGa 2
I Am Setsuna
Splatoon 2

What other good games are available? The Coli brehs usually give good recommendations

"Xenoblade Chronicles 2" is dope as fukk if you like JRPGs.

Damn was just about to post this. The Switch desperately needs more features: youtube, netflix, twitch, voice chat, video chat, some kind of social media infrastructure similar to miiverse, etc. Though I doubt that video is real.

Even though I believe that particular video is fake, those features will all come to the Switch eventually, just not in one big update.


Cept folders and system level chat, I doubt those for some reason.

Brehs, please don't get your hopes up for a BOTW style pokemon. of all the people to be severely disappointed, I don't want it to be y'all. I think they're gonna try and go for a more innovated Xenoblade style gameplay with a more real time style battle system. It would be amazing if you could control each pokemon while leveling them up and handling their stats and attributes in a battle. I think that would take a lot of work tho. Which is why I think they should start from the very beginning with this one and just for now use the first 151 pokemon.

Also, anybody a Pikmin fan? Still no sign of Smash, they really gonna shut the internet down with this surprise Smash announcement out of nowhere.

I hope they don't go a Xenoblade style for the battle system. I want it to still be turn based but exploration be in an open world where we actually get to ride/swim/fly and control all that. And I want the Pokemon visible in the over world similar to how monsters are just stomping around in Xenoblade
