The lineup was Kurt, Krist, and Chad Channing on drums. The fourth dude on the cover was Jason Everman, who paid for the album, but didn't play on it.

Always appreciate a Nirvana thread, as it's pretty much literally the only non-rap group from the 90s that I like. But "Bleach," ehhh... a reason this isn't the album that made Nirvana NIRVANA.

And I saw Chad channing at Pike Place market over the summer with I assume his wife..breh was eating ice cream with her I was on the next bench playing my guitar.

From what I read Kurt was frustrated with trying to make a grunge sounding album due to label pressure...and he half assed the lyrics .

Fast forward a few years and you have people trying to decipher some of his songs that he wrote lyrics to like minutes before he got to the studio
