I didn't catch as much of the G1 as I wanted so didn't contribute much but I'm happy we got a stickied thread for a Japanese show... well a month long tournament We made it I'm glad some other TSC regulars are giving Puro a try too, there's no going back now for you guys

no, there sure isn't. I don't know why I hadn't given it an actu- ACTUAL chance, being that I enjoy the hell out of Joshi and KENTA+Marufuji matches. Hell, I only even would watch those in spats.

chalk it up to my faulty but superior brain doing what it does.

I'm legit shocked at the love the Finals is getting. A lot of people are calling the surefire MOTY and a classic. I enjoyed but I'm like at all these reviews, it's like I watched a completely different match.

Maybe the style is getting old for me

Yea, in no way was that a classic or even a MOTY contender. It was a entertaining matching, nothing more. The whole show was a B to me, but it is what it is

I started on dailymotion before I got impatient and just bought a subscription. There was a link a page or two back where you could download the matches if you don't want to stream.

Does anyone here listen to Japanese audio wrestling? They did there review of the G1 similar sentiments to everyone on here I think but they said that Tanahashi is the best wrestler in the world based off this year ? I'd say AJ , naka , Suzuki , Owens , Rollins ( but I'll admit Seth didn't have the best few months after mania ) zayn to me . Then it's like cena okada tana ibushii type guys to me . Tana. Is a very good wrestler but idk he doesn't connect with me . And that air guitar might as well be cena see you at the ppv level trolling

Yea I agree, he's not a bad wrestler, I'm just not interested in his matches, same with okada for some reason. But Ibushi>Tanahasi in terms of entertaining matches. He's straight with his kicks.

Tana coasted for like 7 months this year (and last), but no one does a better big match than him. On balance I'd say AJ has been the best overall the last two years, but I see no problem in people giving Tana the nod as the best because when he really does his thing he's currently nearly unmatched.

Also, last year the G1 final got crazy hype that didn't resonate with me until I watched it again a few months later again and came away feeling it was damn special. There's always a problem, imo, properly judging the G1 final because so many other feelings are tied up into it, and even in this a pretty normal, standard G1, you've had tons of really good stuff to watch over the past few weeks where you start to consider some really great stuff to just be normal. Once the dust settles and you're no longer used to watching a handful of dope matches every day certain things can stand out more.

What does It mean if tana wins at WK10?

That will mean that Gedo has lost his fukking mind, because the story they've been telling is that Okada can't beat Tanahashi at Wrestle Kingdom.

This is their third match at WK, and Okada is supposed to win this one. It's his reckoning year.

Yeah I like ibushi I have the ziggler thing though when I feel he gonna lose all the big matches
