No cashiers: Kroger location converts to entirely self-checkout

Did this at the Walmart Neighborhood Market near us not too long ago.

All self-checkout with a few workers floating to assist with issues and check IDs for alcohol purchases.

I guess lonely and miserable people that need someone to talk to or to make other people miserable are not happy about these machines.

Cashier is a miserable job anyway. Because who want to deal with dumbass customers all day.

The most overrated grocery store of all time…. Publix has a few shelf products that you can’t find at other grocery stores…. but their butcher dept. is mid as fukk….

Publix is only impressive to people from the south who have never stepped foot in a Wegmans....

Publix is that dealwish we had them in the Midwest.


Went to one in summer of 2017 in St. Augustine. Kroger used to be my favorite, but when I go to other Midwest based grocery stores, I realized they have brands/products Krogers don't carry. Jewel, Hy-Vee and Schnucks are the best up here to me
