I used to love Publix until I found out one of the chain's heirs that is living the good life over in Italy is Maga and helped finance the Jan 6th f-ery. I stopped shopping there when I heard about it.
All companies are switching to self-check while they have an army of security sitting in a room watching and recording your every move at the check-out. Costco has employees working the self-check registers.
I like Kroger but there's none in my area.

Went to one in summer of 2017 in St. Augustine. Kroger used to be my favorite, but when I go to other Midwest based grocery stores, I realized they have brands/products Krogers don't carry. Jewel, Hy-Vee and Schnucks are the best up here to me
