Breh I rock a Lions fitted and I carry my laptop to work as a CTO in a Lions book bag. I watched every game for the last ten years. One day they will reward me with a super bowl. I will fly from where ever I'm at on the planet and dance in the streets of Dtown and cry tears of joy. Real man tears.
Best believe the streets will be flooded breh. I expect to see dead bodies celebrating on some Thriller shyt even.

Lions — Quick hits from Thursday

ALLEN PARK — Quick hits from today (Thursday) before Detroit Lions practice:
— Safety Don Carey practiced for the first time in several weeks on Wednesday and sounds like he’s more than ready to play. Coach Jim Caldwell wouldn’t say whether he expects Carey to play. Carey is versatile enough to play nickel which would be a bonus since Bill Bentley and Nevin Lawson are gone for the season with injuries.
— Caldwell also had no comment on the three who didn’t practice at all on Wednesday — Ziggy Ansah (knee), Travis Lewis (quad) and LaAdrian Waddle (calf).
— The offensive linemen were sporting new T-shirts. On the front: Arrive. Raise Hell. Leave. On the back: Stone Cold.

Hopefully Carey picks up where he left off last year. He was the best slot corner on the team.

Going into Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers, there was some concern that the Detroit Lions would be without defensive ends Ziggy Ansah and George Johnson. Both were listed as questionable on this week's injury report, as was defensive tackle Nick Fairley. Luckily, all three players are set to play on Sunday, as none of them are on this week's list of inactives:

QB Kellen Moore
FB Montell Owens
WR Ryan Broyles
OT LaAdrian Waddle
LB Travis Lewis
CB Cassius Vaughn
S James Ihedigbo
The Lions are once again without starters LaAdrian Waddle and James Ihedigbo, meaning that Garrett Reynolds will start at right tackle and Isa Abdul-Quddus will start at safety. The Lions are also without Travis Lewis and Cassius Vaughn, who have been replaced this week by the recently promoted Julian Stanford and Mohammed Seisay.
