Since the lb conversations is being had, I'll say I dont want Levy to have to play the middle. He could, but he's a star playing the outside. So hopefully Whitehead makes the transition and at least locks it down for the remainder of the year. They picked up a LB, Josh Bynes, from Baltimore earlier this week. He's another possible candidate. Van Noy played it in college so he may get a look in 2015.
Tullouch has a five million cap hit plus coming off an acl, he might be done here. Damn shame, him and Levy were a nice 1-2 combo.

IF this team is for real they should beat all 3, but you cant be mad if they go 2-1. Defense wont face a good qb until drew brees and (gulp)matt ryan in a month.

I got them last 2 as losses already. Green Bay and Chicago in December

That defense was more Schwartz scheme than Gunther's. Gunther is actually known to be a much more frequent blitzer and have a more aggressive d than what the Lions played under his tenure. That wide 9 with more zone coverage and dbs playing off the receivers was all Schwartz' d.Shows how trash Gunther was as the DC and how much better Austin is.
We'll have to worry about him getting a head coaching job if the D keeps playing like this though.
