He's essentially DRob status in this series. Like the 4-5th best player on his team. But we've been thru this before. He has a losing record against Kobe in the playoffs. Kobe has taken the Spurs soul on numerous occasions. Plus don't forget he would have 4 chips, and one with an asterisk. :instigatingphiljackson:

Someone please make that Phil Jackson picture into a smiley. I have no photo shop skills.

If thats the case then the Heat deserve an asterisk for last years win :manny:

so when it comes to Kobe, it matter that he plays with Shaq and doesnt have more than 2 Finals MVP

but Duncan putting up 13 and 11, and nobody seems to care about his contribution smh

Can someone explain to me how Duncan would be ahead of Kobe? Duncan has never dominated the game the way Kobe has.

Who says Tim hasnt dominated? His game isnt flashy so he gets written off as boring which isnt what people want to see:yeshrug: Never heard anyone call timmy selfish

Failed to repeat. Failed to win the west back to back years. Blew a 2-0 lead twice. Lost to an 8 seed as a 1 seed. From 2008-2012 he was :flabbynsick: and no where near a top 10 player. If they win this year he will have the worst Finals stats of his career while being a third or fourth option.

You obviously didn't watch the NBA post 1998. Duncan was very dominant, dude was the best player in the league for a good 8 year stretch.

He wasn't as dominant as Kobe yet he got more MVP's, more Finals MVP's and a better winning percentage than Kobe. fukking moron you

Kobe stans feeling like a baby mama about to get her child support checks taken away

Tim Duncan has won 70% of all the games he's played in. That's not just the best winning pct. in the NBA, but the best winning percentage amongst all North American professional leagues. That stat alone trumps Kobe's glorious individual achievements.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
so when it comes to Kobe, it matter that he plays with Shaq and doesnt have more than 2 Finals MVP

but Duncan putting up 13 and 11, and nobody seems to care about his contribution smh

Maybe because Timothy already has 3 finals MVPs? :russ:

He still got more Final MVPs and MVPs, and you all told us that rings as the second best player on a team count just the same.

I got the "So Lebron's only ring has an asterisk?" thread on deck :jawalrus:

I also got the "Tim Duncan Eulogy" thread ready to go if the Heat come back. :jawalrus:

I can't lose :blessed:
Duncan or Lebron firmly solidified ahead of Kobe this year.

You can't win

you can make an argument that duncan has done more with less
only thing dat's a glitch on his resume is the no back to backs
but again, he's never played with the players that kobe has
spurs rotation for as long as i remember are always full with diamonds in the rough and players that no body wanted.

you can make an argument that he has played with no superstars

:what: @ the bolded. Really? What superstars had TD played with? Kobe had shaq gp and karl aand they still didn't win. Dwight Nash and Pau and still didnt win. Now go back and look at the spurs rosters and see who td has had besides the admiral manu and tp

Wow you are beyond DUMB. Kobe had GP and Karl? Yea when they were fukking fossils. Malone was 40 and missed most of the Finals. :what:

Duncan has had: Tony Parker and Manu. Two first ballot HOFs for pretty much his entire career and shooters. Kobe had a one year rental in Dwight who was injured and Jodie fukking Meeks as his best shooter. :dwillhuh:
