I knew they would turn it around. I've been saying this team is way too talented to be losing the way they were. Especially with how competitive they've been with some of the better teams. Sucks because I was hoping we would get a top draft pick because this draft might have some sleepers.
The 0-5 start was a killer. They gave away the opener at Philly, and should have split with the Magic and Bulls. Those were coaching losses because Brooks consistently goes away from what works. I'm shocked he used Bonga last night to match Portland's small lineup.
Troy Brown is glued to the bench still and its pretty damning IMO.
He's now starting games with Matthews and Wagner who provide floor spacing and both are giving you energy on the defensive end even if they are making mistakes... they atleast want to defend dudes and be physical. This has helped Westbrook cause his efficiency is climbing higher. The problem with him is he turns the ball over way too much.
We'll see how much better they get... I still think we get a top 10 pick while being more competitive but in #SoWizards fashion we would make the playoffs and pick in the teens. But this is a deeper draft than 2020.
They were really mad about losing games. Hope they can keep this up. Aside from this four game streak they also have a positive record in the last ten games so they are coming around
