Put me on record for being anti tanking.
We just need a complete team. We had guys who couldn't defend and we got rid of them. The team has taken on Russ mentality and professionalism. If they didn't actually step up and win games and were at the very bottom despite having Russ and Beal I'd feel more hopeless..
The guys who couldn't win a game in the bubble we got rid of. They were worthless to us. We kept the ones we needed. If we were still losing that means we still sucked and nothing has improved. And a hit on the draft won't make up for that suckiness. Cause we'd still be incompetent if we didn't turn it around.
Look at phoenix. Suddenly one of the top teams after going on a surprising run with their young players. But one by one those players were picked by the franchise and then suddenly together they came when they became complete. And winning streaks showed they were close to be at that point.
For that opportunity for completeness. I'd rather we demonstrate the possibility of actual competence then like the sun's, add some unheralded guy who fits into helping us being complete.

Brehs mad we winning it’s unbelievable like we haven’t been losing for the past 15 years almost. We screwed up draft after draft the wins were big Wall and Beal other than that what we have to show for it? And those picks was 9 and 11 years ago, by time we hit big again in the draft we would have lost Beal and now we back at square 1. There’s no guarantee Beal will want to be back next year and if we lottery bound then that probability go to a big fat ZERO.
Build a winning foundation hope we make it to the playoffs even if we get bounced out of the play in or first round of playoffs. Carrying the momentum to next year would be huge. And besides watching Wizards games has been entertaining again.

We have the leading NBA scorer and a former
MVP and people want us to suck.
NBA is a team game. We just need to get deni and Rui to adjust defensively and we will be fine.
Sun's have no one to write home about but they have a complete team.
The issue is
They’ve lost 10 games due to terrible coaching. Even before and after the COVID outbreak that took out half the roster.
Brooks is also detrimental to young players.
I’ll give Tommy a big credit for finding Gafford. We all know Rob Williams shoulda been our pick in 2018.
