Top programs, well really college basketball programs would love if they could get a "5 star", have a decent season and hopefully recruit more down the line. The old college basketball wave is DEAD. These teams don't care about the tourney as much as they care about the notoriety. There is no such thing as the "blue boods" anymore like your UNC's, Dukes, UCLA's, etc.. Yeah those programs still exist but it's harder to stay at that level with the portals and one and done.

Michigan should recruit on the lower level and get guys who are not projected as lottery guys and build the programs, that's what Coach B did. Overwhelming that's the majority of college basketball but the one and done lottery guys get the headlines and its getting harder to have a cohesive team foundation now with the portal running rampant.

We are recruiting on a lower level. And we’re losing.

I turned it off after Nimari's ill-advised 3.

That was probably the dumbest shot taken in basketball this year. What a complete lack of situational awareness. 7.9 seconds and you have a timeout. He wasn't shooting well all game, so why did he even think to shoot? Either attack the basket or call timeout. This isn't a pick up game.

I’m a Fab 5 guy which made me a fan of the program and I’m a Juwan guy but these close losses are becoming way too habit forming and he’s in over his head.

In the second overtime the team ran out of gas. The biggest issue with the team now the lack of a bench that can produce...

Other than Cheddar off the bench who has heart who can’t defend on a D1 level and is streaky shooter is the only person doing something.

Trey Jackson is a huge disappointment and I will give Lewelian a pass because he is coming off a ACL but he can’t do anything on defense or offense and Juwan decided he should be the backup PG…

Because of the bench, the offense ran out of gas in the 2nd OT..

Most importantly Laila, who has been in a shooting slump all season, played well today (26 points). Hopefully it's a sign of things to come, we need our star to play like a star and not like one of the girls.
