Different dynamics in MLB. They don't have revenue sharing which allows big market teams to dominate. Giants has the highest pay roll this year at $22 million while the athletics was only $63 million. 8 teams in the MLB didn't surpass the $100 million mark while in the NFL teams have to spend 89% of their cap limit.

When it comes to guaranteed contracts, no NFL owner in their right mind would agree to it simply because of the nature of how common injuries are in the sport.

There Salary Cap should be so much bigger than the NBA the way there numbers look. They get 5 times as many viewers but only have a salary cap about 60 percent more. It doesn’t really make sense why there cap isn’t at least 240 million.
