Draymond is fascinating to watch. He's like Rodman in that he has a star-like impact in the non-glamorous aspects of basketball.

Perfect example of a guy who doesn't need to be a number one option to be a star.

He's one of the best players at defusing lobs, if not the best. Actually fukk, no, he is the best. There isn't any area/aspect of defensive play he's vulnerable to.
Not quite.. he has an autistic like memory for plays or players play style... He switches his defense style to who he defends..thus the genius mention... But if the lob is a last second change and the passer is tall enough..his length won't allow him to break it.... But its obvious who are lobs catchers therefore he knows who to stop and when.

If it's a last second change, than no player is breaking it up - except for fouling. If a player (I guess in this context it's usually a big man) has the jump on the closest defender than it's over. No elite rim protector (other than Draymond) has the smarts or reaction time to defuse a lob if a big man is already in the motion of going up for it. If Draymond is "vulnerable" to last second change lobs than every other player is too. And in that same frame, you could apply that to every single basketball activity that a defender is "vulnerable" to.

It's funny how you even minimized it to situational lobs, but than praised him like no other for reading/anticipating, identifying styles and defusing them before the player even has the chance to catch the ball. If you believe that he can do all that, than I don't see how you can believe he's vulenerable to lobs at all.

Last second change a tall player like whiteside can break it by simply changing arm direction... It happens a lot.. when the "block" is not called a goal trending.

I was wrong about Draymond. He is definitely better than Rodman.

I still don't like dude though.

Cavs in 5.
