I feel the plant example was whacky(though I do believe it's in reference to the kids showing up to eat....being able to plant and grow their own vegetables would be valuable), and getting rid of all the books is extreme, but for the most part he's on point. A lot of those books are bullshyt and even the most informative ones are teaching you things that most wouldn't even use in their everyday adult life. Can't speak for you, but I can speak for myself when I say this is absolutely unbiased truth.

The school system IS archaic and their methods of enhancing our mind are disingenuous at best.

Dude was bugging with the "meaningless English" shyt though. I would argue that English is the most important subject from elementary through high school.

This is my 1,000th post btw. I feel like I should thank you for some reason. Lmao.

Not the topic at hand sir, however, if you would like to make a thread out of it, and further express your disgust, please do so.

What's your take on the topic at hand, the black vote?

It is definately part of the topic at hand. Im supposed to acknowledge that Lupe Fiasco was ethered and made the son of DL Hughley. To do this i have to give into demonic trash. To do this i have to feel swayed by DL;s words and acknowledge that LUPE is indeed the idiot that DL claims him to be. To acknowledge this i have to respect DL Hughley and thats not possible because its apparent DL has been capitivated by demons and is now being used as a divisive character since his paychecks come from being a puppet for demonic individuals. Then i notice his character of degrading his own family for a demonic audience and i can tell hes the kind of man who only has loyalty to his bankroll, and nothing else.

Its so demonic, friends.

Lupe wasn't even there though to "son" so I don't even get how people are saying that. You have to actually be present to be sonned.

Breh you can find some good in any statement anybody makes if you search hard enough. Bottom line is his whole spiel is short sighted and reaks of arrogance & ignorance. This is typical of Lupe in these types of settings though. You like Lupe alot, so it seems you will defend him at all costs.

You're wasting your time. You're responding to a man who said Lupe Fiasco is the greatest rapper of all time and that those that disagree with him (in his musical tastes) are just vain and lack substance.

oh god, I've heard it all...

I mean the man can't even defend his stance properly. I actually bothered to look into his stance and it actually does make sense. Lupe is actually arguing for some type of self-governing model or at the very least separation from an ineffective voting system. That's just as bad as what the major news networks do when they have a panel of "experts" talk about the issues. It's Spin.

Lupe is right...I get what he's saying and what he's saying does makes sense from his perspective, his perspective is that you don't need to vote in an election to change things in your community which is technically right. Voting is sort of like an indirect way of getting people to do things for your people , but if none of the major parties actually care about your peoples concerns, then what's the point of even voting in the first place? They're useless to you, sort of the idea of college. People don't go to college just to be more knowledgeable, they go to college so that they can put that knowledge to some beneficial use. I also see Hughley's point as well, but that's the old black vanguard way of thought and that way of thinking doesn't produce the results we're claiming to want. Voting hasn't changed much of anything on an institutional level. People should still vote, but not to vote just for the sake of voting, that's just dumb. Every major movement that ever begat reform in this country started at a grassroots level.

you guys are failing to miss the bigger point.

it starts from the little things. you wanna know why you see rappers like chief keef and all these other kids looking like fools in their rap videos and etc which reflect on the lifestyles they're living? they don't THINK they're capable of succeeding. they think that being a bunch of thugs and gangbangers is what they can only amount to. :snoop: you guys underestimate the importance of an education. a lot of the problems going on among black americans today have to do with the lack of education going around. you think that these kids would be carrying on the way they would if they were educated about the system? they sure as hell wouldn't. you think that all those kids would be carrying on the way they would if they were educated about the choices that were outthere as well as the lifestyles that they're living. that is WHAT happens when you're not educated. lupe's solution is basically going like "these kids aren't capable of learning math, english and etc. they're not going to use it. they're too dumb to survive outthere in the world. let's teach them how to plant". that's exactly what some people want to. hell, in high school, that's what they wanted the black kids to be. undereducated.

lupe is basically backing up this slave mentality of hopeless, thinking that the only way to fight back is saying "f*ck the system, we gotta get all militant" yet his main gimmick has been trying to use how "intelligent" he is to bring other people down. lupe doesn't seem all that interested in other black people succeeding to tell you the truth YET "kicking knowledge" has been his gimmick to sell records. he was priding himself on being "i'm intelligent black man" in the rap bizz, i'm a fresh breath of air and "you have to buy my records because i say smart things while rappers out here are being stupid". :laff: you guys don't get it.

It seems as though you've been infected with the very demonic forces you abhor about DL. That man is human, and as such, is prone to make mistakes, and err in judgement. Does that nullify the decency of that man forever? Is forgiveness not divine? Forgive that brother, Mr. Somebody. Let God judge that man for his transgressions. Focus on the message, not the man.

Just the thought that black people can become a political force in this country should be enough to mobilize blacks to vote. I don't know that much about his personal life to comment on what you know in contrast. I do however, comprehend the words that are coming out of both individuals mouths, and ironically, find Loophey's words and stance to be vastly more demonic than DLs. IMO, one is speaking power to truth(DL), whilst the other just wants attention and adoration for going against the grain.

What say thee about the words, Mr. Somebody?

I really didn't have to search hard to find good in what he was saying. He was accurate, just extreme.

Me liking him has nothing to do with it. He says plenty of shyt I disagree with. Waka Flocka himself could say what Lupe did in that video and I'd agree with his garbage ass too.

Im not punishing him for what he did. Im pointing out that he shouldnt be on tv someone an idiot when he shamed his family to millions of listeners for entertainment. The 2nd thing im pointing out is that because i dont respect him i dont take his criticism of Lupe seriously or regard it as holding merit. What God does with him isnt my business.
