Breh im not going to argue with you. I think he makes great music. You dont. It is what it is. Im not going to change your mind. He is miles ahead of big sean though. I get why a lot of hip hop fans are upset about the writing thing. Most people nowadays just dont care
Is he miles ahead of Big Sean if he didn't have writers? Please clarify.

Breh, I wanted Meek to win. I really did. But...
Do you know what Meek's original beef was? It was some hoe shyt "He aint ReTweet my album" :sadbron: and "BTW, this canadian n1kka a fraud :youngsabo:".

Meek is supposed to be the street rapper that came from battling.

Yet the soft n1kka from Canada is the one that dropped the one good diss track. Please tell me why Meek dropped such a trash diss track like Wanna Know... when he CAME FROM BATTLING??

Meek is the one consistently posting on Twitter and IG twenty times a day. Drake is a fukkin pop rapper.

You right, but that's on Meek. He let Drake control the narrative.

Notice nobody cares that Drake is a fraud? Notice nobody cares that Drake never denied having a ghost writer?

Everybody is talking about how lame Meek is. Dude is an embarrassment right now

especially with shyt like this... Another reason why the public turned on Meek = been actin like Nicki's bytch

Think about this..

Day 1 - Meek exposes Drake
Day 3 - Drake drops Charged Up - subpar diss track. nobody really liked it like that
Day 5 - DJ Flex and Meek say "diss track coming". Diss track never comes. This is when the public started to turn on Meek.
Day 6 - Drake drops Back 2 Back... everybody feelin that shyt. Now Meek in trouble? What he doing? Meek still on Twitter, posting corny azz shyt

After 10 days of preparation... Meek drops a piece of garbage.

The question is this, and I've come to realize this. If people don't care about the cardinal sin in Hip Hop? What can he say?

As hard as Ether was. As hard as Hit Em Up was. As hard as No Vaseline is. As hard as that shyt is, none of that shyt would have had the impact that exposing one of those enemies as someone using ghsotwriters would.

Out of all the shyt that was on Ether. If Nas had flat out proof that Jay- was fraudin. That would have been 2000x worse than any joke on ether.

Jay wouldn't even be around right now.

Of what? You saying Drake never wrote any of his verses? He got help with some songs. So what. Kanye and Wayne are greats and both have gotten help and co writer credits. I don't deny them anything that they've accomplished. So why are we splitting hairs for Drake? They all have gotten help with songs. You just upset over nothing. Tell em why you really mad breh.

Gatdamn the levels of :cape: :russ:

Noah only sent out those 20 tweets as damage control. I"m glad his own words are coming back to bite him and Drake. LOL @ all you dudes trying to throw certified rap LEGENDS under the bus instead of just calling it like it was. Drake got exposed and his own producer said this. LOL, pure comedy seeing the building collaspe on there faulty logic on ghostwriting. Now the goal post moving is getting funny:

1st it was: Meek is lying he has no evidence.
2nd after 10 bands reference: Well it was just the first verse and QM was credited
3rd, 3 more reference released: Everyone's done it from Michael Jackson to Biggie to NaS to Jay, all the rappers use Ghostwriters.
4th R.I.C.O. proves QM didn't get credit: It was just one song and 4 or 5 bars
5th Drake's own producer words: But what about his other albums, lol.

SILENCE, you have no more excuses.

:mjlol:

And the drake stans still won't care :heh:

I was a meek & drake fan, but before anything I'm a fan of the culture
So the question is. What's less Hip Hop? Not responding to a diss? Or using writers?

People keep saying that "Meek should keep it rap and respond. That ain't Hip Hop"

But is it Hip Hop to get hype over a diss track, when there's a good chance that said person never wrote it?

I'm really not sure how you can be mad at Meek in this situation. Anyone.

Go check the DWMTN thread. I didn't like it. And i fukked with DC/DC2/DC3 hard.

But I almost have to side with him here because he did something that is normally GAME OVER in our culture. But people still want to talk about diss tracks.

The verdict isn't back yet. Time will tell how much this impacts Drake. Nikki was bragging about writing her own raps at award ceremonies. It's approp to brag because it matters. Time will tell though. This is an interesting experiment

It's very interesting. I don't see this ending well for Drake tbh. Not because he's not talented, because I always say he's the most vocally gifted rapper OAT. But what it does is open him up for a lot of other shots.

The Meek storm will subside eventually. And then we'll see how Drake adjusts to his new position in rap. The "die-hard Stans" won't care. But hip hop fans and his peers will.

We've never had an outed ghostwriter be active in the genre while at the top of the food chain.

A lot of the braggadocious shyt will have to stop as well, which is 95% of his music.

I don't know when's the last time I heard a Drake song where he wasn't bragging about his position in the culture.

Hush didn't write a single bar, do you think executives who haven't touched a mic in like 10-15 years are writing 10 songs :skip:
Take Care cats wrote what they said (or played) on the tracks :what:, except Practice where Weekend allegedly wrote Juve's lyrics and Drake allegedly produced the song :pachaha:

:francis:
