Why..Drake fans arent concerned with ghostwriting.

Not responding is the best answer..

Because when you DO you give validity to the situation at hand..
Yeah, this is a common PR tactic used by people who are guilty to try and fool the public. Evade and deflect and hope it goes away. If this was just some random rapper throwing out allegations, i'd say Drake might have been in a position to laugh it off. But we now have physical proof, and the fact he's still trying to laugh that off makes him look more guilty. If someone says I stole something, I can just say they're lying. If someone brings out video footage of me stealing, I better have a damn good excuse. The fact that Drake doesn't even see it necessary to provide a response to the reference tapes is damning and shows how little he actually cares about his art.

:what:

Wouldn't you say it's the opposite?

The people that don't care about the music

The people that do care about this don't even like Drake music and don't want him to be liked anymore
No. If you care about Drake's actual musical talent and skill on the mic, why would you think substantiated allegations of fraudulence aren't important? The only people who are willing to overlook that were never into his music at all. They liked Drake because of his style and his image. Drake is supposed to be a musician, first and foremost. So when you take away his musical talents, what's left? OvO tattoos and hoodies. fukk that. I don't know how anyone can claim to respect Drake as an artist if they're willing to overlook whether he actually made the art or not. That shyt is over my head.

It ain't about respect or any of that other shyt you talking

It's about liking how the music sounds. Most fans don't have the time nor cares to give a fukk about the minutiae of how a song is made

And I'm willing to bet those same people who are overlooking this,

If say some random "artist" was as manufactured as Drizzy and shyt came out, they'd be hating like crazy.

These nikkas is weird as fukk man. Meek won the war in which he became the laughingstock of rap & social media? :dahell: Oh ok :heh:

Meek's first tweet that started all this shyt was "stop comparing Drake to me too...he don't write his own raps!" That's what a ghostwriter does breh, they write the lyrics for an artist

Breh IDK. I really don't know what you're talking about. Educate me, give me some background info on what happened

How do I look up to Drake? :what: :russ: :mjlol:

I like Drakes music, but I'm riding to just as much Meek Mill in the whip right now so miss me with that shyt. Drake had to go at Meek b/c Meek went after Drake first on some snake shyt. I don't have a problem with Meek goin after Drake, but he went after him on some snake shyt. Meek was in his feelings over not getting a retweet and wanted to publicly embarrass Drake. Drake responded to protect his reputation and embarrass Meek and he's been successful. It is what it is...but y'all not gonna convince me that Drake is a fraud when his alleged ghostwriter says he doesn't ghostwrite for him and y'all have no other evidence besides a few lines from reference tracks. Sorry :manny:

Well... if you ask me, drake is the real snake here. Id be mad too if I paid someone 100k for a verse that they ain't even write themselves then want to take the credit, respect and accolades for that shyt. That's just disrespectful. Drake has done a lot of snake shyt to others as well so it's only a matter of time that shyt blows up in his face.

Day by day you'll see how untrue that is. We're still in the early stages. His supporters will realize though, that his pen does matter and matters more than anything else. Think Prince. A part of his aura and image as a legend/artist is that he writes his own shyt and is highly talented in multiple areas. He's giving you his mind, so the connection is there. You take away The aura that Prince doesn't write his own shyt and it's :childplease: no way Controversy/Sign O' The Times or Purple Rain sound the same :manny:

Also, it's worth mentioning that most of his DAY 1 Supporters have an issue with this. Especially the ones who I know of personally. The 6-God/ChanpagnePapi era pop fans don't care, but then again they fukk with the image more than the art.

The HeartBreak Drake / Young Angel / Drizzy Drake Rodgers day 1 fans definitely care. No doubt about that.

And it's only going to get worst going forward. He's not built for that Kanye / Dre lane. It's easy to stay in that lane, not so easy to cross over into it. People have known since day 1 that Ye had help. Which is why we always say one of the GOAT artists, not rappers.

You're asking Drake fans to completely erase everything they know, and support him going forward as a pop act. It's never been done and it won't be successful. All this "his fans don't care about who writes it" is absolute bullshyt that people starting saying after July 21.

For the last 5 years he's been in constant debates about greatest of his generation. Comparing him to Cole and Kendrick and his fans have ALWAYS taken pride in his pen. So much that they threw artists like Kanye under the bus for it. PLENTY of times. All this "no one cares" shyt is false. And the result of still adjusting to the news.

Just wait on it.

I actually think it takes talent to rap, so I respect the people who are doing it well. That's the whole point of appreciating art. The music may sound the same, but where my respect goes has definitely changed. And I think it's sad that most people don't take the time to appreciate the artistry of the music they're listening to. That's why pop music is in such a shyt state right now, people stopped paying attention and giving respect to the artists, so the genre got flooded by a bunch of hacks looking to cash in. I don't care what's in it, it tastes good!

Im supposed to be shocked about Iggy?
Im supposed to be shocked about Pharrell (even if its Snoop...he's been on cruise control the past few years...and he pretty much wrote the Cronic).

Where did I claim they were lyricists? They made hit records and that's the point. fukk all that other noise. So what if a ghostwriter wrote some hot lines, they made it a hot song.

If he wants to sure. he doesn't need to yet b/c this shyt is getting swept under the rug b/c Tweet is a bumbling buffoon. Had a more reputable source put this info out then Drake might've had to respond just for his credibility. But Drake doesn't need to respond to the crab level posters who are running rampant in this thread who never fukked with him anyway. Better put: Why would Drake need to respond to his Day 1 haters who never gave a damn about him or his credibility until now?

Please explain how people are "haters" for simply pointing out that Drake doesn't write his shyt :dead:

no...the point is that Drake = Puff = Iggy.

Nobody cares you like his music.
We are talking about him not being a dope rapper...he is not in the Rakim, Nas, B.I.G....not even Kendrick, Cole lane.

True or False?
