They were both disappointing albums . The production is good on both Yeezus and MCHG but I can't handle Jay's lyrics like  for real and Kanye was pretty much the same on Yeezus

As much as Kanye's stans overrate Yeezus (not AOTY by ANY means) and as much I was disappointed because I expected a lot more, I prefer Yeezus over MCHG tbh :yeshrug:

I only fukk with 4 songs at most on MCHG currently

Yeezus has Guilt Trip, BOTL, I'm In It, Black Skinhead and IAAG ( those screams tho :hovscust: ) Only songs I don't fukk with is Hold My Liquor and Send It Up, Bound 2 has its moments where it hits but still one of my least favorite tracks.

Both were disappointing and meh/mediocre albums at most but I prefer Yeezus as of right now.

You're right, I even thought MCHG had a chance to be one of the albums OTY :beli::dead: and i didn't expect Kanye to disappoint too but I kinda still enjoyed it more than MCHG

But not to worry because King Push will save us :blessed: :ahh:

Ayo, first off B....suck a dikk if you'sa Kanye stan.

y'all created this diva, and are full blame for all of his hoe antics and awful album.

secondly.... the same people who called Magma Cardboard a classic just off the strength of a commercial and tracklisting are the same people who say that we need to let give Yeezus time to appreciate it.

But forreal, if you would've told anybody that Jay and Kanye would be the low points of a year in hip hop....before MCHG and Yeezus dropped..they would've :russ: in your face.

What is hip hop coming to brehs?

lol

When they purposely leaked Yeezus that weekend....and the reception was so awful, they went the " we're searching for the person who leaked it" route..... i knew then, that there was gonna be all types of damage control to be done by reviewers and industry types, in hopes it'd save the albums buzz.

They pushed the " your ears are not evolved enough to appreciate the album" and " Kanye should be applauded for trying to push the limits of hip hop" angle like that was gonna make up for the hot steaming pile of shyt he dropped.
Lol bro I noticed the same shyt, they made it seem like nikkas was dum for hating it

was listening to Jay's album this morning wondering how flabby and sick his lyrics got. Remember Blueprint? Every song and every line was dope. So many quotables back in the day.

I actually fukk with MCHG, I can play the album front to back, it's a solid 7.5/10 to me, production is flawless and Jay doing his thing on the bulk of the tracks, at least flow wise.

Yeezus was definitely a dissapointment though outside of "Bound", "Black Skinhead" and "Blood On The Leaves" most of the joints were straight skippers. I appreciate what he was trying to do, but he just didn't pull it off in my opinion. 5/10.
