These kids are gonna get paid soon. Imagine if/when USC, Alabama, Michigan, Texas, Florida State, etc. start doing this.
They want to get treated like adults/professionals
You don't perform on the court/field, you get fired, get injured than tough
It's really the 1% of College Athletes that deserve to get compensated
Here's the thing, if the football program is carrying the athletic dept...I have zero issue with equality getting thrown out the window....but this unionization if it holds true would effectively end all athletics other than football and mens basketball.

My point being if you pay them a work study wage then the wages can be negotiated and you will have full blown contracts

Scholarships are on a year-to-year basis. People don't get their scholarships renewed the next year all the time. Schools usually will mask it for something else like a "medical issue."
