Then I watched like 3 of his HS highlight vids

:camby::camby::camby::camby::camby::camby::camby:

I must say, it's funny how his ceiling keeps getting readjusted :sas2:

First he was the next Lebron

Then it was T-Mac

Now it's Paul George.......and Iguadola :sas1: :mjlol:

Wiggins guarding the best opposing perimeter player every night and yall not mentioning that at all. do you guys really think that just is standard from rookies? to be told to guard kobe, wade, etc in their first year? :comeon:

the guy needs a real jumper to go along with his game, but calling him a bust this yearly because he's not the best scorer is laughable. he has no trouble getting to the live nor driving, but you cant keep defenders honest unless you can hit jumpers on them.

Lavine had a career night because he was being guarded by Lin, he's been shyt and you guys think he's worth a damn because it's probably the first minny game you've seen all year.

That's a pretty bytchmade thread. You need few more years to consider someone a draft bust, plenty of rookies this year playing not to the expectations many thought they would.

The fukk is up with comparing with kwame? Kwame came outta nowhere, suddenly muthafukkaz started talking about him, like on some Jonathan Bender shyt.

Kwame has small hands and he has no offensive game

Wiggins already is showing some moves on offense and if everything goes well he should keep on improving that and the guy is 19 years old for fukk sakes

Bunch of robotic fans, keep on bashing the player when he is doing not well, but quick to jump on the bandwaggon when shyt is going well.

I called kid because they said he was the next Lebron and he was not impressive what so ever. Watched 2-3 of his college games and he showed me nothing amazing, so I guess I just catch him on bad nights.

Did Kwame show ANYTHING his rookie season?

Wiggins just a few games ago put up 29/5/2/4/1

He's a little wreckless driving to the hoop, and you can tell he's still adjusting to the speed of the NBA.

But he's shown flashes of brilliance on both sides of the ball.

:camby:those of you who saw him play last night for the first time exposing yourselves

He'll be at least Paul George level last year eventually. To go further depends on his mindset and ability to be aggressive. Personally as of right now I don't see it. The same problems persisted at Kansas. Would like to see him drive more too.

Impossible to compare him as a prospect to LeBron/Durant/Carmelo

Wiggins has a nice post game, and he's shot better than I expected from three, he shows upside defensively as well however let's not act like he's locking anyone down it'll be a few years before he's an elite defender if he even becomes one.

Wiggins biggest problem is that his handle just isn't good enough, it's his biggest weakness as far as I'm concerned he struggles to create his own shot, and has a poor midrange game he's shooting 23% from 10-16 feet and 38% from the 16 feet to the three point line. He has no pull up, also for as athletic as he is he lacks explosiveness around the rim, and like people have said he lacks that killer instinct.

Give him a few more years, he won't be LeBron hell no, he won't be Kobe, he won't be McGrady and he isn't as good as Melo, Wade or Durant either. But I think he can be an All-Star and a great player he has the tools and honestly you have to expect a 19 year old rookie to struggle a bit.

I always felt Jabari was the better prospect :manny:

I don't think Wiggins will ever live up to the hype he had coming out of high school but I still think he'll be a good player. I see him having a career trajectory similar to Luol Deng. Perennially top 5-10 at his position, make a couple All-Defensive teams, make a couple All-Star teams, a #2-3 option on a contending team.

I
That's too low for him, he is already showing more in the post than Igoudala ever did.

As far as the OP is concerned...
Nah, Wiggins is going to be alright.

I like some of his post moves and can play defense.
Thats whats up, I havent had a chance to watch him like I want to. I hope the best for him.
