It is kind of fukked up that the restaurant passes down the expense of service onto the customer. That should be included in the price of the food. I do though, especially if the waitress is busting her ass and really trying to earn her tip.

Delivery drivers actually perform a service by bringing you food so that you dont have to leave the comfort of your own home. What exactly do waiters and servers perform that makes their services so tip mandatory, and not a courtesy?

Oh, we have to pay them a healthy tip, because their big business fat kat employers reward them w/ slave wages. Doesnt their pay scale tell how much their services are valued?

I can't stand how people who aren't servers want tips now. Mechanics want tips for fixing your car and charging a grip, barbers wanting tips even though I come in every single week and already pay $20 for a cut, and people working the door at the club wanting a tip plus cover. I'm like "what the hell do you deserve a tip for?? All you do is take people's money. You didn't even open the door for me." i support the OP. call me cheap if you want, but my money is in my pocket and your money is in theirs.

Yep. I actually do tip delivery drivers. Like I said, im not against tipping. If I feel like the service was amazing, I will have no problem tipping. But it should be my discretion and nit something thats forced on me, which if I refuse will mean spitting in my food at another visit. Never mind the fact that I actually paid the full price for food charged; but no, im evil for not tipping and deserve whatever is coming to me.

help me out here. is it wrong to NOT tip at places like Chipotle?? I can never figure this out. they got a tip jar out there, but 9 outta 10 times, I'm paying by credit card anyways. and its not like they are even bringing the food to me. should I tip the sandwich artist at subway as well????

I dont go to strip clubs, but I have no problem w/ them getting tips because they are actually performing a service (getting naked)...I can go and grab my own damn food, and pour my own sprite. The fck are they doing that demands 20% of the check?

I don't tip strippers...If I buy a dance thats different. $5 for a lap dance then you getting $5 nothing more nothign less. If you on stage dancing for everyone and not me, you not getting money from me. And Fucc them weak as barbers, I'm not tipping dude just so he can have abandonment issues from me cause I sit in a different chair next visit cause you got 4 people waiting on you for a cut. Dude should be tipping me for sitting there having this dumb @ss conversation with you th ewhile time you cutting my hair. Tell me how:

1) I left a 16% tip on the weekend at Wild Wings (Buil was 18.09 and I left a 20 with a Loonie) and this bytch nikka @Blue Jay had the nerve to add on to my tip (extra dollar) when I went to the washroom. I came back and noticed that shyt like . He says he simply had extra change so decided to add it on top but nonetheless

2) After I left the money on the table the waitress gave me back the change in full (about 4 bucks in total.) Why would the waitress give me back the money? Obviously if I left additional change on top of a 20 dollar bill for a meal below 18 bucks then the extra money was for the tip. I was so confused. Then nikkas had the nerve to tell me I shoulda left the tip and gave it back to her in her hand fukk this tippin shyt b. Only tipping delivery drivers now. Even these bartenders, the drinks be marked up 200%...i dont even know why I be tipping.

Funny thing is, you wanna be all mighty and brag like you don't give a fukk, but your eating food that most likely has snots, dirt, been dropped on the floor, rubbed in the grease that's been building up in the kitchen for years, etc, etc I don't condone a waiter doing that...but ...waiters remember a motherfukker that doesn't tip...you better not go back to the same spot. I'd rather tip what I should or more and not have my food fukked with
