I might spend some hours trying to figure some shyt out, but at my age, fukk that, I'm using a walk-through. When I was lad with nothing but free time on my hands, then you just play until you figure it out. I used to draw my own maps when I got super stuck.
I almost gave up playing the first Max Payne when he went into some kinda trippin' phase.
That level totally caught me off guard and was frustrating as hell. Damn baby sounds and spooky footsteps didn't help.
That point in every Zelda game where you're stuck in a dungeon because you need to use a certain move or ability that you didn't have to use for over ten hours so you completely forgot about it.
Mass effect 3 had a part where the only way to continue was to talk to some random dude and get another mission from him. I ran around forever, and went back to every planet looking for some shyt I missed. Had to watch a video walk through on YouTube to figure it out.
completely losing something that you cant get back without restarting the game or not leveling a character up properly and then reaching an end game point where the character is too weak to actually go any further.
I remember the first time I played xenogears I somehow managed to get to the second disk without ever using a single deathblow. I literally just pressed buttons randomly and thought I was doing work. That shyt is worse then getting lost.
Also remember in Final Fantasy 8 the GF customization shyt where you can get like HP and stats. Didn't know that shyt till like the last disk.
