To a certain extent but even back then, 80s or so? Everyone was doing coke. You just didn't see it on TV and big screen like it was a cool thing to do.

you gotta think... coke is an expensive habit, so you're not gonna notice it until you're older... it's not like weed which pretty much everyone can get their hands on.

Another thing I don't like about coke, dealers cut that stuff to sh!t. They cut it so much with other sh!t u rarely get pure stuff. At least with weed u don't have that problem.

Worse that can happen, u buy some brick schwag full of seeds and stems that won't get u high.

My cousin had a friend that snorted a bad batch of coke(He snorted for free) he had a 104 degree fever for 3 days straight.

Anything above weed is a no go for me. I just cant and wont go there. Weed is enough

Everyone's always done coke... from thugs, drug dealers and strippers to yuppies, ivy league college students and presidents. It's a party drug, but it's even worse if you have an alcohol abuse problem.

1. Everyone doesn't do coke.
2. Everyone in the past didn't do coke.
3. People who say "everyone does" are usually trying to rationalize that drug use is okay for themselves if they believe everyone is doing it.
4. Problems with cocaine use, whether sporadic, regular, or high, will catch up with the user in some shape or form in the future.

I've tried it once but never saw the appeal of it. It's expensive as hell and the high really isn't really worth the price IMO.

On the other hand tho I think that hard drug usage is generally becoming more acceptable in American culture. Take rap for instance there was a point it was taboo to touch any type of opiate or psychedelic (besides weed) but now everyone's not ashamed to brag about getting "trippy" or "screwed up"......... alot of impressionable kids out there regardless of upbringing eat it up. talk to any of the 90's babies or late teens, theres an obvious disconnect in regards to where the line is drawn when it comes to recreational substances.

I know plenty people that are at it and it seems its way more acceptable now than it was 20 years ago. Like someone else said, it used to be a hush hush kinda drug, keep it on the low and all that.

Now u got plenty of movies that are like comedies with people partying and they all start doing coke like its all good. Also go to a bar or club on a Friday, Saturday night and see what's popping in the toilets. Muhf*ckas out there snorting their asses off.
