The only thing i dont like is it's hard finding a pair of comfortable dress shoes. i have big feet... :mjlol:
Size 14 here.
Most shoes have the best styles cut off at about 12 or 13.

But if you're willing to spring for quality stuff, I just got a pair of Allen Edmonds Park Avenues in black. I think I overestimated and got the EEE's rather than the simple W's for my wide feet, but I love them.
AE's retail for 365, but you can get them closer to 300 and maybe 275 on sale.

If you go to their Shoe Bank websites, you can get the Factory Seconds...which are AE shoes that have a minor defect and sell at a discounted price.
Right now they have a sale on the Factory Seconds and I got a pair for $235 shipped. The only defect on this one was on the bottom of the shoe, there was a scuff. The actual leather and top is pristine.
The thing about ordering from the Shoe Bank is that you have to call the store that has the shoe and order over the phone.

....if you don't wanna go as pricey as AEs, you can get the Johnston & Murphy "Melton" for 179...but there are almost always online codes and sales that bring it down 30% to around the 130 mark. They're like a poor man's AE.

If you're not comfortable cracking $100, then you can pretty much just pick whatever shoe you want...just know that it won't last a long time and the leather will probably get beat up after a year or so.

im really thinking tailored suits and fly style is the equivalent of lingerie for women

It's uncanny. I've had middle aged women at old jobs catch me in a suit, double take me and try to contain their real thoughts with a studdering "don't you look nice in a suit."

Also, when everything fits you exactly the way it's supposed to it most definitely gives you a swagger while out and about. Makes you appreciate it more after all your off the rack outlet stuff.

Normally, I'm a Timbs, Jordans, Supra collector (still am) and a casual guy who loves Lacoste polo's but not really a fan of dressing up

Well I'm transitioning between jobs, beginning internships, doing interviews and taking classes and you're required to dress the part.

The compliments you get :wow:

The looks you get :wow:

The way people TREAT you:wow:

I'm completely comfortable and content in rocking dress attire now... You just FEEL like you're about business... you FEEL like you're on point just because you look on point.

Even people in class acted differently towards me when I was on point. Even the instructors, who were dressed sharp themselves, were like :ehh: and went to me to actually assist during the class :wow:

I even went shopping for a new watch afterwards (and normally i don't wear watches.. a pet peeve of mines). And was about to cop it but they only had the display in stock.... I wanted it so bad because it would've definitely set the outfit off for tomorrow but I'll wait until next week.

Workout and dress nice brehs... you can't lose

Yep. Let's change our ways to appease massa.

The Truth
You can't have it both ways...either you are gonna be yourself regardless of your fashion choice OR you gonna let fashion dictate how you should act and feel about yourself. Thus why so many people, regardless of color, suffer from materialism

Real shyt...my uncle showed me an episode of Bug bunny that helped to reinforce what my grandparents tried to teach him
No amount of money, jewelry, bytch, wealth, clothes etc should change how you view your self worth

:heh:
I guess if you wear dark thick frame glasses too, white folks will act different towards you. Turn off Curb Your Enthusiasm

... Ok:camby:

fukk dress attire. Millennial's don't even have as much respect for that shyt as the generation before us did.

I do get more respect when i'm dressed up but i get respect when i'm casual too. And i choose comfort> everything else. Wear stuffy ass button ups isn't comfortable to me.

I'll be in tees and jeans till i drop.

Pretty much..

The last time I wore a suit was in 2005..lol

I just cant fukk with it..
